Currently iPeng just sends a UDP broadcast for WOL. Would it make sense to just send the packet also to the active server plus maybe to the URL of a newly selected server? Or do you also need a different port (from SC's)? Also, I have been running into some issues with using Favorites: - Heading bar up top has Pandora://5.. and stays on that Pandora confuses me. I can't use Pandora so I can't really comment. Yet for iPeng 1.1 I switched from iPeng's native Favorites support to the server supplied one that is intended for the Controller and that one does indeed show the name of the favorites file in the headline. No way I would have found around this, it's the expected behavior, you see the same thing on the Controller and in the Web Interface. - Can't add new favorites. There is a name button but that just gives back a cannot request non-HTTP URL URL message What did you do to add a favorite? Is this through Pandora or the TrackInfor menu? - When playing a favorite, ipeng does not go to Now Playing automatically. I can see that. I'll try to test this with my Controller. For the controller menus, the server defines what happens when you press play and iPeng only switches to NowPlaying here if it's said to. But I don't know if this is the issue of if there's some kind of misinterpretation of all the undocumented stuff in the protocol on iPeng's side. This is also true when playing Pandora. Always? What would it take to make this PlugIn remote usable? My server is located somewhere in the basement, running flawlessly for quite some time now. Any administration is done via RConsole/RemoteDesktop so I don't access the machine physically. It would be great to throw this newly bought CD in the tray of my desktop computer (PC that is) and be able to listen to it through my SBRs. Either it would need to accept a remote/virtual WAV input or the PC needs to stream the music to my SqueezeCenter, right? Is that possible? This plugin is only usable on the PC running SC. For what you want to do, a totally different solution is needed something like VLC or Windows Media Encoder to set up a http MP3/WMA encoded stream of your PC audio - quality will suffer an encoding can put a load on source PC. Within SC - there are many places where a BBC live station can be played but whether the URL is correct/working will depend on who is maintaining that menu item. 1. Staff Picks More Radio which I think are SC supplied URLs. 2. Local and World - which are supplied by RadioTime 3. AlienBBC 4. BBCiPlayer plugin. Radiotime will supply WMA URLs first - so if the user is in the UK they will play. If the user is outside of the UK the WMA URL will fail - in which case if the user has AlienBBC installed - RadioTime will supply a RTSP (RealAudio) URL as a 2nd URL in a playlist and this will then play. It's been a while since I tested this scenario so it may have changed but confusion arises about the playing URL as SC will show that the first WMA URL is playing when it is actually playing the RTSP URL. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63518 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
