Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] softsqueeze won't run
A gentle bump here. Let me put it another way. Is anyone successfully running softsqueeze from the browser interface on a Mac running SC 7.3.3? If so, how do you do it? -- whitman whitman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9053 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65963 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] softsqueeze won't run
I don't know about Mac but the jnlp should have been opened using Java Webs start and not saved. When you clicked on the Click to install and run SoftSquyeeze were you given an options by a browser dialog box. Open and option with Java/OpenJava WebStart Save File If you weren't given the option to open/run the jnlp file, it seems the browser is either not set up to do Web Start or perhaps not allowing a Web Start application to be run (e.g. a secruity setting). -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65963 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Wave Input plugin v1.00
I am using waveinput on a desk top running XP and with onboard Via Technologies soundcard. Waveinput seems to be installed fine and appears in Settings/plugin and on menus. When playing Spotify or others the sound is barely audible from Squeezebox boom even at 100% vol. The control panel sound settings look correct as described by others on this thread. Stereo mix checked for recording etc. Can record sound from Spotify fine using Audacity. Any one any suggestions. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Wave Input plugin v1.00
You may find DSbridge offers a better solution than Waveinput for Spotify. The WaveInput plugins does not alter volume in any way so the controls to look at are 1. Audio Control panel - recording Level for Stereo Mix or whatever thre What U Hear is called. 2. If the audio card does not have a proper analog volume control (this is commonly the case for recent PCs) - then volume from WaveInput will be affected by PC volume control on System Tray. 3. Make sure SB volume is set correctly. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35718 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Now Playing export
Thanks, the 'undock player panel' trick is almost exactly what I'm after. It'd just be nice to have the artwork a little bit bigger. I'll have a play around with Moose and see if that will give me what Im after. Otherwise I might look at an existing plugin like iPeng and see if I can modify that, I've a feeling that might be a bit outside my skillset though! -- sync32 sync32's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31874 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65959 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] SuperDateTime showing neither date nor time.
Is there a known problem with SuperDateTime on a Squeezebox Boom? I think I'm missing a line or something. I see neither date nor time, and the stock ticker shows neither the stock name nor symbol, only the value, change, percentage and volume. This is using the default settings, I only set the zip code, and one stock symbol (I left the format strings alone). Is there another setting I need to make to get it to show the date and time? -Ron. -- rpieket rpieket's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31862 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66028 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: muso (beta)
Is there anything special about your website host? I've never, ever been able to download muso from your website. With my satellite based ISP (Wildblue) I never get anything other than a: Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error. ..error when trying to view any content from your site. -- gharris999 gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57629 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] WaveInput plugin woes
After debugging a problem with a user the only conclusion was that it just doesn't work when SC is a service. I disagree with that conclusion - it works for me with SbS running as a service. To test audio capture from the card - the following command should capture PC audio into a file called audio.mp3. Depending on the version of lame you may or may not need the -x option. wavin2cmd.exe -o wavin:0 | lame -x - audio.mp3 I tried this and it didn't work, so I realised that my problem wasn't with the plugin, but the sound card settings. I discovered that the recording device had been changed to only record Microphone input. As soon as I changed that back to the appropriate mixer control, it worked fine. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SqueezeScrobbler 1.0 for SqueezeCenter 7.0
James, I am saddened to hear that it looks like a full re-write. You have provided a great service to this community. It looks like we need to move on. There is no last.fm alternative outside the geo-restricted areas, but is there an alternative service. Can anyone recommend a Squeezebox service similar to the one that James offered us? Perhaps a Blip.fm plugin? Keen to hear? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Softsqueeze 3.9 beta for testing
I've been unable to receive Sirius channels with Squeezeplay or SoftSqueeze, at least since SC 7.3.3. No problem with SBC and SBR, or non-subscription Internet stations on SP or SS. Sirius is the only subscription service I use. I've reviewed this thread, but not sure what the latest fix for wma conversion is. Any help appreciated. Try changing MP3 Streaming method to Proxied streaming under WebUI Settings/Player - SoftSqueeze/Audio The MP3 label is incorrect - proxying is also done for WMA. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62060 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
