I looked for a way to keep the old TrackStat data but found no option for this so I thought the old data were lost. It would be great if it could be retrieved. I have also changed my music path in SBS (formerly SC) from unc path to simple path. The set up now is I:\MP3\Min musik. In that folder there is a shortcut pointing to \\Musikmaskinen\Musik (H)\Mina CD (Flac) where some of my files are. It would be great if you could tell me how to do the search and replace operation. Unfortunately it seems disconected from the failing Internet Radio prolbem as I now have another, working, channel playing, and I have loads of those errors (the server.log is now 45GB!! after less than 10 days - any chance of a roll-over being built-in?) FWIW: I'll add poor man's log rotation in the upcoming v2.0. But it will only be triggered when SBS is started. I live in London and have been running BBC iPlayer fine using this plugin installed using extension down loader on a Synology DS107+ NAS. This uses their own Linux installation. I have a SB Duet. Some time in the last couple of weeks play-it-again stopped working. I have installed extension down loader iPlayer plugin v0.9d, but can find no Settings for it that I can change, so cannot see where I could change the codec to MP3 from AAC/Flash. Currently the graphics on the Controller and web interface appear to show play it again programs streaming, but there is no sound. Is it possible to decode AAC on my NAS, or am I restricted to MP3? If it is MP3 only, how do I change the Codec it uses? I tracked down my problems a bit. The problems seem only to occure with the MixedTag menu template. All menus based on this template show the described problems while my other menus based on other templates do not. I finally created a test library comprising only one classical and one non-classical album (i.e. there was also only one classical artist and one non-classical artist). Further I created two MixedTag menus from scratch wich both only contained ARTIST on the first level. One menu was restricted to the classical part of my test library (defined with the Multi Library plugin) and the other was restricted to the non-classical part. When browsing in the web interface through the created menus, in both cases the (in each case only) artist was listed three times. When clicking on each of these artists the correct album was shown. However, I noticed that on top of the web page only for one of the appearances the correct artist name was shown in the displayed hierarchy chain (Classical-Artist-Ivo Pogorelich). For the two other appearances artists were displayed which were not part of the test library. So it seems that there are some rests of my regular library either from the squeezebox server cache or from the cache from CustomBrowse although I made a wipe and rescan after I had reduced my library to the test library. Further, I did not mention that I copied my prefs directories back after having upgraded from 7.3.4 to 7.4.1 in order to preserve my settings. Could the be the reason for my problems or is there indeed a bug in CustomScan and/or CustomBrowse and/or the MixedTag template? Since I have not yet received a response to any of my previous posts, Erland, could you please confirm in a short answer that you have recognized the posts. I have to admit that I am not completely clear if the present thread is the correct one or if I should have chosen the Announce: Squeezebox Server 7.4 beta versions of erlands plugins thread. At the moment my classical music is almost not accessible and I would therefore really appreciate if you could have a look into the described problems. What device are you trying to stream to? I am using SlimRIO softwware on Dell DDAR receivers, they only support MP3, but the same errors occur when I use SoftSqueeze. I have now unticked the Use Flash AAC streams box in BBC iPlayer and I can now play some of the BBC listen again stuff. Anything that requires transcoding seems to fail with the same error. On all of these devices menus are in German, as on Squeezebox Server. I really don't know how to change language setting on devices itself, it seems to be possible only on Squeezebox Server Press and hold BACK on the transporter in order to get into its firmware menu. Good stuff! Thanks for adding the Info tab with Album Review and Biography. Now I have even fewer reasons to use the Web UI. In future releases would you consider adding access to these options from the Cover Chooser. Either with two direct options (Album Review Biography for the Album Artist) or with a single option (Info) that would bring you to the Info tab. I must admit that now there are two SBS's running on my network - one on Windows XP machine, another on FreeNAS. Following scenario: 1. transporter is connected to SBS on FreeNAS with German language settings 2. connect it to SBS with German language on XP 3. change language on FreeNAS's SBS to English 4a. disable - enable SBS on FreeNAS - Failed 4b. disable - enable SBS on FreeNAS again - Ready 5. connect transporter to SBS on FreeNAS again - get missing RADIOTIME_.., STAFF_PICKS, SHOUTCAST strings in logfile. But i was not able to reproduce missing EINFÃ#339;GEN, LÃ#8211;SCHEN etc. strings again! This all applies to both German and English language settings on transporter. The page can come back telling you that SBS isn't running, because it doesn't wait forever to get back to the user. With TrackStat save a backup copy of the current database. 3. Search and replace the 92 MB backup file. 4. Remove all data from TrackStat. 5. As I said, there is no merging, so you need to restore the one you want to keep last. If you think the old backup is more correct, restore that one last. Hi, Would it be possible for someone to upload their non corrupted squeezeboxserver-xx.tzg file somewhere please? I only have a windows desktop pc and i have read that people downloading these files are getting corrupted? I am running freenas 0.7RC1 Sardaukar (revision 4735)and have successfully run the installed (SlimNAS Version v1.9.99a)but when i go to install squeezeboxserver-7.4.1-28825.tgz for example. Slimnas is starting when i refresh the page slimnas has failed. I had slimnas running for a long time on 0.69 freenas and it was awesome (thanks mherger). The same was happening on (SlimNAS Version v1.5.1.tgz) Am i doing any thing wrong? Peter, New question - ignore previous post. Is there some reason this would work in one area of the house but not another? When the Squeezebox and the Appliance module are plugged in upstairs (out of range of the tranceiver) they work perfectly. When the Squeezebox is moved to another room, the Appliance module no longer works. When they are both moved to the basement together, they also no longer work. What do I need to do in order to get this back working, as it needs to reside in the basement. The computer with the Sqeezecenter server is currently on the second floor. I am pulling my hair out. Any advice? Since my problems with moving to 7.4 I've been unable to get Custom Skip to work, i.e. when I add an album to the 'Now Playing' playlist, it does not skip the track listed in the 'Zapped Songs' playlist but plays the song. I've Dynamic Playlist installed but don't think I need it. Here are my settings:- The 'Zapped' filter is the Active filter set: Skip percentage 100% Valid Forever Retry later No Activated 'Enable filtering on all playlists'. Also tried the 'Playlist' filter set option with 'Zapped Songs' but no joy. What am I doing wrong? Sounds like a bug. Could you start the server from the command line with --debug server.plugins,plugin.extensions and post the output in the bug too. Uninstalled DatabaseQuery plugin, restarted, Installed DatabaseQuery, restarted. Needed another restart after that. Caught the log, trimmed it to only show lines containing DatabaseQuery. The add-in seems to see the cd player, and reads the table of content, looks it up on CDDB, displays it on the controller. This does sound quite odd; if the SB is nowhere near the appliance module or transceiver, it seems like it would be unlikely to hurt anything. And I don't see how having the SB wall wart near the appliance module could possibly help. How consistent are your results? When they are both moved to the basement together, they also no longer work. Are your basement outlets on the other side of the breaker box from the outlet where your transceiver is plugged in? Apparently many X10 users have trouble getting powerline X10 commands to cross from one side of the breaker box to the other, and there are phase coupler devices you can plug into a 220v/240v outlet (as for an electric clothes dryer) that are supposed to help with that. What do I need to do in order to get this back working, as it needs to reside in the basement. The computer with the Sqeezecenter server is currently on the second floor. I'd hope you could do something like put the transceiver on the main level on the same side of the breaker box as the basement outlet. Move it around as needed in order to reliably control the transceiver appliance module with the Extras menu.
