Thanks for any info :) Well, it still doesn't work satisfactorily. And right now the priority is on getting an iOS4 compatible version (there are some nasty bugs in 1.2.1 with iOS4 and iPad). Thanks for the update :) Hopefully the IPhone is prioritised ;) the iPad won't be any good until v2 anyway! I ask as playback on the other app (I forget the name for moment) seems to be having problems with selecting albums on my 3GC iOS4. It is possible do do it like Spotify do and have a single search box and then return all artists, albums and tracks which match. However this can lead to long lists and the way the plugin is written now it needs to wait for the full list before showing anything (in contrast spotify show the top of the list and keep adding to it. So at present if you search for artists it means you want the result to be a list of artists. If you do an advanced album search you can specify e.g: Code: artist:coldplay AND album:XY to get a result which takes into account both fields. See http://www.spotify.com/int/about/features/advanced-search-syntax/ for the syntax. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Sync and playback issues with Spotify plugin and Squeezeplay
Hello, Apologies if this has already been covered in the comprehensive discussions on Triode's excellent Spotify plugin, but I'm having problems getting Squeezeplay to play the plugin. It's visible and plays but there's no sound. Also, it won't sync with my Duet and/or Radio when playing the Spotify plugin on either of these. Any clues much appreciated. If it's intentional (think I'm right with that Triode?), is there a decent alternative to Squeezeplay that will allow me to sync, play through PC and use the plugin? Thanks again for this beatiful plugin, Triode! I am now ruuning beta5 on a Win XP with Squeezebox Server Version 7.5.0 - r30464 and all is working flawlessly except one small issue. When I play a song and hit the previous button in Squeezeplay (or in Web interface) to restart the song, it just shows Connecting and the counter elapses, but no sound comes out. If i press the play/pause button nothing happens and when i press the next button the next track plays. If I then press the previous button again the original song restarts fine. Is this expected?
