[SlimDevices: Plugins] Slacker is unstable.
I signed up for a year of Slacker and I really like it ... When it works. I have found that lately it just stops. I then must dump existing playlist to trash (using Ipeng), go to my apps, find Slacker and re- enter a Slacker music station . I sometimes use the free Pandora service and do not have this problem. Is anyone experiencing the same Slacker problem? I reported this in another thread and I thought it was fixed. Thank you. -- Ikabob Ikabob's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32088 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82008 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SharkPlay plugin - radioSHARK player
Hi All; I've been using the RadioShark (2) for a couple weeks, and the sound quality seems fine; and surprisingly, this signal is the only one that will nearly-sync with my PC's SoftSqueeze 3.9b1. :) My problem is that the signal consistently cuts out to re-buffer. Each morning, my alarm turns on (2) SBRadios, (1) SB Classic, and (1) Softsqueeze3. I often play play high quality MP3s and FLAC over this network, without any re-buffering. Is the bit-rate extremely high on the RadioShark? Thanks, -- MartinG MartinG's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40452 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=54926 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SharkPlay plugin - radioSHARK player
Radioshark feeds a WAV stream direct into SBS which then by default converts it into Flac to send to players. Itt sounds like network interference and that coupled with need to encode the stream may result in rebuffering. Other possibility is that there is some other task on the server which uses a lot of CPU in small bursts. You should run a network test to see what is the max rate you can get 100% for at least 10 mins. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=54926 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Many thanks for a great app! Everything working fine except Top 100. I´t just says No search results found, both in Artist, Album and Tracks. I´ve searched for this problem without luck. This problem exists both in squeezebox server and Ipeng. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
First of all, I can not express in words how very interesting this is:) Installed the plugin on my debian (latest stable) machine and worlked with a couple of quirks. 1) Had to create the file /var/log/squeezeboxserver/spotifyd.log and change owner of the file to squeezeboxserver:nogroup, as the deamon didn´t seem to be able to create it. 2) Had to install libFLAC. sudo apt-get install flac (as you said) Then i tried the same stunt on my brother´s machine. Same debian installlm different hardware (intel althoug on both). Seems like spotifyd has problem using the network stack on this machine. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Dynamic Playlist Plugin - No songs after every rescan
This exact thing happens to me too. When I look at the song list before doing the web interface, the songs are presented all with the same title TRCKSTATDYNAMICPLY?? I'd really like for this to work DYP, but I have yet to get it to work on any standard playlist over 100 songs. When I choose a DPL playlist over say 100 songs it hangs and looses connection from the controller. -- arebe207 arebe207's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38132 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79804 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The sockprintf errors are for the connection between squeezebox server and the helper app, spotifyd. As this is all internal to the one machine, there's something going on in this machine. -- Triode Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

This defines which toplist you see. It could be that this is set to a country which you are not able to see? I have the same requirements for ZFS and have implemented 0.7.2 succesfully, but want to use it as squeezebox server also. Sorry to be dense but I don't use that plugin (can't get it to work) and so I don't exactly understand what you expect to happen. iPeng doesn't do anything but send a command to the server. That command is already being created by the plugin. But more importantly: from what I see the command is successful (the server shuts down), the difference seems to be in the behavior of the plugin itself. The only way iPeng could affect this is by changing any parameters etc. But I don't think I made changed to the parameter handling in 1.2.7. I'll see whether Gordon can help out with an idea. Thanks Pippin, Will it relate to the Touch firmware itself? When the song finished why its pointer go back to the beginning and start counting again (I was wrong yesterday, I checked last night, the pointer goes back to the beginning of the song and starts moving to the right as if the song is playing again.)
