Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Alternative Web Interface (beta)
Love the new look! There is one thing that I would appreciate the most... Due to a bug, all new versions of lms don't show the ratings in the left column of the web UI. Could you try to display ratings on the left side? So when I select a track from the playlist I could see the currently playing album tracks WITH their ratings. Thanks in advance! [SlimDevices: Plugins] How to use ratings with LMS (comming from 7.5.5)?
I recently updated from 7.5.5 to the latest LMS version. I'm so unhappy with the fact that it is so terribly complicated to get the ratings for a certain album. My usual way to listen to music was to randomly play tracks and for some I would click the TS icon to select more music that I liked (which was directly visible through the stars) from this album. The whole concept of using ratings somehow got useless. It's too many steps to reach the album stats. I wonder how you guys manage this shortcoming of the new LMS version. Is there an other skin, tool, plugin, that makes up for this? I'd love to have the old skin back ;-( System: Ubuntu, SqueezeCenter-Version: 7.5.5 - r32671, perl 5.008008 Player: Squeezebox v3 @ Bose LifeStyle Series III, Squeezebox Radio, Squeezebox Boom Plugins: TrackStat, SugarCube, Dynamic Playlists, AutoDim Blu3IcE's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13792 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99109 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
Hi Triode, Thanks for the great plugin! Its working perfectly but I have to start it manually. I have LMS running on a NAS with an ARM processor, under a Debian (chroot). I installed spotify plugin through the LMS web interface but when I went to spotify plugin page it indicated that the helper app was not running. I managed to get it working by running spotifyd manually under the root account. I then tried running it under the squeezeboxserver user account from the command line su squeezeboxserver -c spotifyd and this didn't work and didn't give any indication of why it wouldn't launch. I am guessing it is permissions issues but I am not sure where to start looking. By the way I have your BBC iplayer plugin running without any issue and for a year or more on the NAS. Can you give me any pointers? They are stucked at v1.2.something. I have uninstalled BandsCampout plugin, restarted, but update is still on the list, there is no BandsCampout on either installed nor available plugins list. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] How to use ratings with LMS (comming from 7.5.5)?
I guess you have found the TS button already in the Song Info page ? By using this, you can click on the song in current playlist and then click on the TS button on the left side in the Song Info page. However, this is still one click more than the 7.5.5 version of LMS where the TS button can be shown directly in current playlist. The following bug makes it even worse for your use case as it doesn't make it possible to show ratings in the track lists of the page your reach when clicking on an album in current playlist, else might have been a solution if you just wanted to list the tracks of the albums together with their ratings: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17732 (but I guess it's too late to convince Logitech to try to fix this) The only thing I've seen happening regarding skins lately is the extGUI4LMS skin, possibly you can convince Roland0 to offer something in this skin: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?98186-Announce-Alternative-Web-Interface-%28beta%29 Except for that, I'm afraid I don't have any good ideas. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
rimoth wrote: Hi Triode, Thanks for the great plugin! Thanks. Its possibly not running correctly due to permissions or looking for the wrong binary - turn on plugin.spotify debugging and see what it says in the main server log. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: muso (production)
No, it only shows the music which has been queued in the order it was queued - if you shuffle or rearrange the queue, it won't be updated. -- muso developer jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81685 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
