Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
@slartibartfast: if you use the Update-Button you will only get the features described under update by webinterface. You need to download the new Max2Play-image for all updates, as I do not have a upgrade Ubuntu-Button in the webinterface yet and it's also quite difficult to compile the CPAN-sources (for the fix with LMS 7.8) via script from webinterface (takes a long time!). To summarize: if you are happy with your current version, hitting the update button in the webinterface is all you need to get the new functions. 2 x Max2Play on ODROID U2/U3 with LMS, Squeezelite, Shairport, XBMC 1 x Squeezebox Receiver 1 x Denon 1713 AVR + Nubert 5.1 System iPeng Max2Play-Image for ODROID: http://shop.max2play.com/de/image-max2play flysurfer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61064 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101856 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

mherger wrote: Might be good: skipped through about 120 tracks without a single glitch. Switched back to the released version and got the first broken artwork after about 20-30 tracks, then pretty frequently (should probably have wiped the cache to get quicker results). Same here. Looks good. I've been seeing one or two broken images but those were thumbnails only (while the full scale image loaded correctly) so I think the broken ones simply had been cached versions previously created by the old spotifyd. With the old spotifyd the image is always broken for both the thumbnail and the full-scale artwork. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 7, the Universal App for iOS 7* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102294 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Jazz FM changed again!
Attached is the complete JazzFM schedule as of the 15/10/2014 in form of an opml file that can be imported into LMS. Please download the attachment, rename it to jazzfm.opml and import into your LMS favourites. It should look like and work like triode's plug-in. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Browse Albums and adiditional informations
Hi and sorry for the late reply, job make me so busy. I take a look much more deeper. In Ipeng I see both in a proper way(like the normal almum view in LMS). But over the web interface (now with enable artist view) I see the artist, but different like the normal view. I made a screenshot. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
If I Listen Again to BBC using WMA, I usually get a good stream. But if I try the default settings (AAC Flash AAC FlashMP3 WMA) I get lots of rebuffing, and quite often the stream stops completely and I have to start again from the beginning. This wouldn't worry me, WMA is good enough for me, except that I gather the WMA streams will be switched off shortly. I am in the UK. I am not sure if the problem is with my connection to my ISP, or with my local network. The latter is (and pretty much has to be, given the position of my router and my computer) Powerline, rather than the more common wired ethernet or wireless. Any suggestions for solving or diagnosing the problem would be valuable. If you can play the stream on iPlayer browser interface (which uses Flash/AAC) then it is unlikely to be the stream or ISP. AAC has to be transcoded into Flac to play on an SB2. Rebuffering could be caused by processor load or network load. I don't think there should be a processor problem so perhaps it is network related. What is CPU load on Macbook when playing the stream ? bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Slackerini wrote: Been noticing that iPeng 7 is ballooning up to nearly 1GB for my ~21.5K track library on iOS 8. Don't recall the memory footprint being so big historically. Is this normal? Also, perhaps when pippin releases the iOS 8 optimized version of iPeng, we might start a new support thread? This one is getting unwieldy to search for issue in. Looks like things are much worse than I thought. This seems to be an issue with iOS 8, not iPeng... http://blog.airsource.co.uk/2014/10/11/nsurlcache-ios8-broken/ The problem is that iOS 8.0.x caches the loaded artwork. To do this, iOS ignores the cache settings an App sets on a load request, this has been an issue for a long time (iPeng doesn't request caching since it caches the artwok itself). However, it looks like now in iOS 8 the OS does not only cache, it also never clears the cache. On iPhone 6 Plus it even UPSCALES the images before caching them (for no reason) and then caches the upscaled, uncompressed images. This is really, really bad. That said I believe other than what's been said in the article it _does_ some cache cleaning whenever the device runs out of space but still not good. iOS 8.1 beta seem to fix it, let's hope it comes out soon. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 7, the Universal App for iOS 7* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
