Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
Hi Ronnie, the Addon you are looking for is the Advanced Setup Odroid U3. With this you can change the blinking Power-LED and change the action for the power-button. You may try to build and load the driver for the NorthStar DAC with the kernel-sources like your link suggests (https://github.com/panicking/snd-usb-asyncaudio/wiki). But you will need to get the Kernel-Sources for the Raspberry PI from somewhere. There are different ways to get the kernel headers, but apt-get install kernel-headers-$(uname -r) won't work... These links should be helpful: - get the Kernel headers: https://github.com/notro/rpi-source/wiki - some more infos and links: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=33t=108075 Cheers, Stefan 2 x Max2Play on ODROID U2/U3 with LMS, Squeezelite, Shairport, XBMC 1 x Squeezebox Receiver 1 x Denon 1713 AVR + Nubert 5.1 System iPeng Max2Play Webinterface and SD-Image: http://www.max2play.com/ Max2Play Shop: http://shop.max2play.com/ flysurfer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61064 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101856 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'll be checking this out remotely this weekend or next. I have checked the Raspberry Pi with the version 2.15 of Max2Play. My LMS at home recognized the Squeezelite player. However, when I tried to play a track I got no output and the track advanced to 11 seconds and then jumped to the next track. THere was no putput through the headphone either. I though that it might be a handshaking issue with HDMI, but the Shairport worked excellent! I don't think that it is an internet resrtiction either, because I have orange squeeze and squeezezplyaer loaded on my Samsung Galaxy and Kindle Fire as well as Squeezeplayer on my old laptop and they al connecetd fine to the remote server. When I try the Dac on my Odroid, if there is no driver, can I use the same commands? This was compiled on a Raspberry PI 2 - but should also work on a Raspberry PI B. It think it will not work on a ODROID because it has an other Kernel version. For the ODROID you have to do the same procedure (get Kernel headers + compile sources from the panicking github repository). Well, tutorials... you're better off searching the forums I guess. The CLI is detailed in LMS, under Help Technical Information Command Line Interface (bottom left of the LMS main screen), the API is probably still mostly correct, but the doc was written at a time the CLI was accessed via telnet. Nowadays the JSON protocol is used, and the way to craft/process a JSON transaction depends very much on the scripting language you're using. (I for one have posted over the years a few simple perl scripts performing JSON queries. Python or JS seem to be a more popular option.) There might be another way of doing this. You can ask the LMS server via the CLI (JSON) and get the playlist for a specific player, and do whatever you fancy from there on. There might be a slight complexity however, since a playlist may contain both local and non-local items; a copy won't be always possible. Also a playlist might contain hundreds of songs, and the copy/zip operation could disrupt LMS timely operation (like transcoding, synching...) and this is a no-no. I believe most users simply share their music folders using samba/nfs/whatever and access files this way. 4 SB 3 iPeng (iPhone + iPad) SqueezeLite Squeezebox Server 7.8.1 (Debian 7.5) with plugins: CD Player, WaveInput by bpa IRBlaster by Gwendesign (Felix) Server Power Control by Gordon Harris Smart Mix by Michael Herger PowerSave by Jason Holtzapple Song Info, Song Lyrics by Erland Isaksson WeatherTime by Martin Rehfeld ShairTunes by StuartUSA Local Player, BBC iPlayer, SwitchPlayer by Triode Auto Dim Display, SaverSwitcher, ContextMenu by Peter Watkins. epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103879 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I wonder whether someone could update Squeezeplay as well. AudioUser wrote: How do you set up flac to flac conversation with in LMS? Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Extract from the user's guide made by PasTim 4.3 LMS Options LMS has many options. The main ones that may affect sq2u are the LMS File Types (see Settings, Advanced, in the Drop Down). This is discussed in Section 2.2 above. Some renderers do not support re-positioning of flac well. If you have this problem you need to create a custom transcoding rule. You first need to find the convert.conf file on your system (on linux this is in /etc/squeezeboxserver). This file contains the rules LMS uses to transcode from one format to another. To add a new rule, create a new file called 'custom-convert.conf' in the same directory and restart LMS. This file should contain: (if you copy-paste below,be careful with the indentation) flc flc * * # IR [flac] -cs - - This tells LMS to create a complete new flac file when a flac starts playing or is re-positioned. The LMS File Type for flac should now show flac transcoded to 'flac' rather than 'native'. LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Is there a plugin that will download all tracks in a playlist through the browser?
Thread title speaks for itself. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. AFAICT there's no such plugin. And it wouldn't even make sense, as this should rather be implemented client side: the web server can only send one response, eg. one file. As others mentioned before you'd have to wrap the files into one archive or the like. You'd better have a client side script which grabs the URLs from the server using the status query, then downloads one file after the other. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

So, to reiterate, the question was whether or not such a plugin exists.
