Hi Ronnie,

the Addon you are looking for is the "Advanced Setup Odroid U3". With
this you can change the blinking Power-LED and change the action for the
power-button.

You may try to build and load the driver for the NorthStar DAC with the
kernel-sources like your link suggests
(https://github.com/panicking/snd-usb-asyncaudio/wiki). But you will
need to get the Kernel-Sources for the Raspberry PI from somewhere.
There are different ways to get the kernel headers, but "apt-get install
kernel-headers-$(uname -r)" won't work... These links should be helpful:
