Hi Giza2020, the equalizer just does not work with the new MPD player plugin - with the squeezelite player everything is fine. I answered your post on the Max2Play-forum as this is not really squeezebox specific. I will also try to include the equalizer options for MPD in the next release. @herve: well, the options you posted are looking ok. With the 'UPnP/DLNA Media Interface' plugin from Andy Grundman, all the LMS music files are made available to a UPnP controller, which may be your Pioneer or some other UPnP Controller. LMS shows up as the 'Logitech Media Server' on your network. Doing this has nothing at all to do with the subject of this thread. You are just using LMS as a Media Server, like many other Media Servers on the market. This thread is about turning your Pioneer into a Squeezebox device, like a Logitech Touch or Classic. As others have said here, you can then control the Pioneer as if it was a Squeezebox device, using any one of the tools for controlling such LMS devices. All clear? LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16-24 bit, 44.1-192kbps. LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp ESLs) Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. I haven't been playing around with my WB for a while (mainly due to this behavior). So today I hooked it up again. Upon initial boot it told me there was an update available for the SmartMix plugin. I let it upgrade and re-scan my library. Currently testing it and it seems to work fine now. I'll keep an eye on it and report back if anything doesn't work as expected. Sorry I may be a bit computer dumb but this is not as easy as it is claimed to be .. I have successfully loaded Max2Play to my Raspberry Pi and I can see the Max2play web interface and on Squeezbox server Status: Squeezebox Server is running with processID 2335. However Filesystem Mount makes no sense to me at all and the instructions don't help either. My music resides on a WD MyBookLiveDuo in the folder Public/Shared Music/FLAC I am set up as a user on the NAS and have a user name and password I can find the IP address of the NAS and have tried to follow the instructions to mount the drive but having never learnt UNIX it makes little sense and I thought UNIX was not reqired to do this. I have tried using the examples and video but get messages like the one below ... Directory created: /mnt/mountdir sudo: unable to resolve host webserver-02 sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified Mountpoint NOT added! Please refer to the description below! I do refer to the description below but I have no clue what it means !! It wasn't the web connection, or the Firewall AFAICS, though the port answer made sense. I - reinstalled the plugin on my SB Server - got a slightly different error message - ticked disable cache - and the test worked! - and I have streaming music from Spotify through my hifi again, without interruption with my new powerline based network! Am guessing perhaps some kind of issue with cached data.
