Hm, I thought MultiLibrary relies on CustomBrowse to present the

To be honest, I was hoping to avoid the automation server as the Orvibo
is directly controlled by wifi. From what I can gather from the reverse
engineering that's been done, the Orvibo communicates by UDP packets. So
the instruction must be sent and then the status checked to make sure

Yes, I've seen similar comment on the piCorePlayer 2 thread.  I was not
able to look at the SDT code over the weekend - hopefully soon.  I
believe it may be an easy fix to SDT.

yes shouldn't be a problem. If the listening server is running on a
windows box, the server should be able to run a vbscript. The server I
use, and which can be downloaded from the info page is written in Java -
so you can use it on the windows machine. Some lines would need to be
adapted though, as the cmd related part is somewhat linux centric.

But what script do you want to start - maybe its simpler to comunicate
directly with the orvibo. Do you have the API documentation?

In the piCorePlayer 2.03 now the LMS can be installed from the web
interface.
I tried with this version as well, and I have a same problem, like in
the previous version (2.02) with manual installed LMS.

Could you give us an update on progress in making the plugins fully
compatible with fairly recent versions of LMS 7.9?  

I appreciate there's been a lot to do moving to a new software server,
and that we can't expect the plugins to track every update to 7.9, hwihc
is, after all, a Beta, although a very long lived one.  It has, however,
got to the point where 7.9 is now pretty much essential for me, and I
suspect I'm not alone.  

Maybe some conversations need to take place in making 7.9 a stable
release so those such as yourself have a fixed point to aim at?



LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi box, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit,
44.1->192kbps. 
LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to 405/2 amp & ESLs) &
Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers.  
Alternatively Minimserver & Upplay to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC
renderers.  
Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to PC speakers/headphones.  
Wireless Xubuntu 15.10 laptop firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with
Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.  
Also a Touch with EDO, plus spare, unused.

Hi Philippe,
Thank you for your quick response. I've had another go at the plugin
settings and I think I've had some success as I can now get my MP3
tracks to play. Will keep on trying to see if I can get my iTunes
downloads to work and will give you a shout if I run into anymore brick
walls

Hi Michael, I'm pretty sure the plugin is configured properly: status
looks ok
Helper App: Running
Current logged in to Spotify
Login Error: No error
Last Error: No error

I did notice something odd though: one of the Radios refuses to connect
to MySqueezebox.com and it is not registered in my MySB account.

@pippin. I guess the SB Radio can stream from Spotify without LMS, but
not with two Radios synced.

No, imho sync is a problem. That's one of the main reasons why I've come 
up with the Spotify Protocol Handler plugin. Whether it was supposed to 
work at some point, I don't remember.

Hm, I have to admit I have never used the MultiLibrary plugin but what
you describe sounds like either iPeng frequently loses the connection to
the server or the server keeps updating the main menu all the time both
of which are things that should not be.
You are not using LMS 7.9, aren't you? I'm not sure MultiLibrary is
currently compatible with LMS 7.9

hi,

having problems with Ipeng after enabling multi library view. Ipeng
refresh screen (left side) every 10 seconds. It change between normal
tree menu and multi library view.


That makes navigation impossible. Is there a solution in place? With
original logitech app everything is working. But that app is very odd. I
love Ipeng, please help...:-)

skips to the next song.
Sometimes though, it works for a while and suddenly everything goes

That's actually the behaviour I would expect if the Spotify Protocol 
Handler plugin was not installed. Are you sure it's configured properly? 
Did you correctly set username/password in the plugin?
