H I've taken the liberty to write a short tutorial on how to setup Spotify using the Protocol Handler: http://www.gerrelt.nl/RaspberryPi/wordpress/spotify/ Excellent, thanks a lot! Two comments: - in LMS 7.9 you no longer can disable the Extension Downloader plugin. It's not even listed any more. - on mysb.com, after you've entered your credentials, you have to follow an authentication link to Spotify, too. This part is missing from your description, but is vital in order to be able to use the official Spotify implementation. - Oh, and a third comment, if you allow: there's an update available for your LMS. Install it :-). You mention an issue with Search in Squeezer. Michael, Is it possible to lift the 100k limit by purchasing a license or something? No. Besides the fact that this likely would have cost huge money, I doubt they're still interested in this kind of clientele, as they have been bought by Spotify. Well if you have AirPlay devices (not the shairplay software stuff but hardware devices) you could sync an SB3 about perfectly, using the AirPlay Bridge plugin. [SlimDevices: Plugins] SqueezeLite - pops and crackles when syncing with SB3s
I have two SB3s and SqueezeLite running on a Windows 10 desktop, all wired in. The syncing of SqueezeLite is usually out by a very noticeable split second. But more annoying is that the SqueezeLite causes crackles and pops in the SB3s, about once a minute. Presumably these occur as they all re-sync, but it only happens when SqueezeLite is sync'd. Is there a way around this, either by changing the configuration, or by using a different software player on my PC? For several days I get the following error, before everthing works well. All Tracks plays for 4-6 Secounds and jump over to the next. The Server-Logs show a lot of PLUGINS::SPOTIFYPROTOCOLHANDLER::PROTOCOLHANDLER::HANDLEDIRECTERROR (191) STREAM FAILED - BAD PLAYER: -5 After a reinstall SpotifyHandler work well, but if i do a reboot of the System i have the same Problem again. Anybody else the with the same problem. Hope someone could help me... My System... Hi Howard,
Not that I know of. There is a limited amount of apps available for the
RT1900ac and the northstarplus architecture (arm?). Package structure is
the same, but I'll doubt it will be possible to install LMS on the
router. Most packages available add a small feature to the router which
don use much internal disk space (don't know how much is available, but
probalbly not enough to store bigger apps?).
