Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Maybe your Mac doesnt accept WOL packets over port 3483. In theory it shouldnt matter but Macs have always been temperamental with WOL. Have you tried the port that other app uses? I think the most common port for WOL is 6 or 9 (always mix that up), iPeng uses 3483 because that theoretically needs to be open for Squeezeboxes to work correctly with LMS --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 9, the Universal App for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

When checking the Spotty plug-in, and clicking on Apply/Restart, you should get a message along those lines : "LMS is restaring, wait a minute blablabla". Close the message. Now, on top of the plug-in list, you should see the Spotty plugin and next to it a message warning you it needs to be updated. So check it again, and click on Apply/Save. Now, restart. Use a relatively large high speed sd card for the LMS server pi, as that's where it builds its cache, alternatively you can direct that to a USB drive Cheers Will WAD62's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38506 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107615 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Any up-to-date Android apps?
I still use Squeeze Commander, mainly because it supports setting of ratings using Erland's Trackstat plugin. Do any of the newer apps support this? When I tried Orange Squeeze it didn't (or I couldn't work out how!) at the time. I can't access to the stom cache. I've created a new qobuz account and now it's working fine. A possible upgrade could be the possibility to access and erase these data in the cache directly from the plugin... Installed this on my squeezebox radio and it's faster than original :) Here is steps what i did: PC with Win Pro x64 Install MS VC 2017(v.2015 install fail), Install Logitech media server v 7.9.1, in LMS install spotty plugin, remove spotify plugin, in mysqueezebox com(can't post links) remove remove Spotify from your apps Restart LMS Go to Settings/Advanced/Spotty setup your spotify account johnni's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67095 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107615 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Thank you Wills and d6jg for your excellent advice - which I intend to follow! I have been a Squeezebox enthusiast for many years and did go through a phase with RPi (when it was first released) as an LMS server. Later I bought a second-hand QNAP TS-220 and discovered that it came with LMS 7.7.2 installed. I therefore discarded the RPi and have been using the QNAP as music store and LMS ever since. Everything has been working fine until I received the dreaded message from Spotify telling me that they are removing Squeezebox support. Please can you recommend any web resources which would help me to configure my new RPi system. (Will my original RPi be ok or do I have to buy a new RPi3?) Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Any up-to-date Android apps?
I have Orange Squeeze, Squeeze Ctrl, Squeezer and Squeeze Commander. Squeezer and Squeeze Commander are not realy useable with LMS 7.9 or higher. There are many things missing. Orange Squeeze and Squeeze Ctrl are both useable. I prefer Orange Squeeze because it's responding much faster and the design is much nicer. But if you want to use your Device only with mysqueezebox.com (without the LMS), it turns out that Squeeze Ctrl is much more reliable. quadronado's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60946 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107665 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
