Well, I've given up on trying to get homeserver working, still getting spotty.exe Win32 application error. The good news is I installed ubuntu 16.04 with slimerserver 7.9.1 and spotty on an old laptop and it works like a treat. Currently toying with emdy server for movie streaming on same ubuntu set up, looks like I'll be retiring the homeserver as soon as I get all my flac media from it. Great to still have access to spotify, it's what gives my classic and squeezebox their most use. Thanks for all the hard work Michael ! We apologize for this inconvenience, but if you are willing to do a bit of reading you can assemble a new system that supports Spotify. I would direct you to the PiCorePlayer website to learn about the Raspberry Pi and software to accomplish what Michael suggested at this website. https://sites.google.com/site/picoreplayer/home We could send support teams out to your home and do this all for you, but since everyone here are volunteers, they have other jobs that they need to do to make a living. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty Feature request - Add Songs List
Now for the feature request, would it be possible to add 'Songs' tab from the Web Player in the main navigation of Spotty? I'll have to review how the Songs are implemented in Spotify's clients. But the problem is the size of the list: you'd easily have hundreds of songs. And we're only allowed to get 50 tracks in one request. Therefore getting the full list might take dozens of requests. It might work, but would be slow, for sure. Good day, after spotify has been discontinued on my much beloved Squeezebox radios (4 in my home) and my squeezebox touch (1 connected to my living room AV reveiver) I am kind of panicking about my family's streaming music experience as many of you do. So far it ran all okay on my Qnap TS-459 Pro+ with Logitech Media Server (from Qnap) and ipeng 9 on a couple of iOS devices to control it smoothly and seaminglessly. I love the displays on the Squeezbox devices and and station buttons on the radios to switch quickly between my favorite stations and additional access to spotify with a few clics and turns on the wheel. Still I have not found any device that offers that offers that versatile user experience. Even my 8 year old could easily navigate on the Touch to find his favorite music (even if it was annoying). Well that's the past now. I've read through all the posts in this thread, but unfortunately I am still non capable to understand how to install spotty on my QNAP device. I am okay to do things on Windows PCs and Macs, but I have little clue how to do things on QNAP's linux command level. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty Feature request - Add Songs List
First, @mherger thanks for all the work! I just upgraded to spotty today on my ReadyNAS Ultra 4 running OS 6.6.1. I did have to install the 'apt-get install libio-socket-ssl-perl' as mentioned in the thread, but overall it was a pretty easy process. Now for the feature request, would it be possible to add 'Songs' tab from the Web Player in the main navigation of Spotty? I believe I read somewhere that spotty was just a protocol handler for the official Spotify app, so I understand if it is not possible/desired. I guess it is also assuming librespot supports the following API (developer.spotify.com/web-api/get-users-saved-tracks/). I was at least able to confirm it is connecting to the api.spotify.com instead of the old ws.spotify.com that I believe the libspotify started on. At least that is my understanding after a quick read this afternoon. I also confirmed that the Songs tab in the web player is using the API as mentioned in the documentation. (e.g. api.spotify.com/v1/me/tracks?offset=50=50=from_token) Reason for the request, I like to listen to radio stations and save tracks. Sometimes I like to then just shuffle play that list. I would guess I'm not the only one that does this, but maybe I am. It would be nice to have access to that list without having to create a playlist out of it. -Beavel beavel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58498 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107728 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Thanks Erland for providing these addins and maintaining them for so long. I would have given up on SB altogether a long time ago if it hadn't been for your multilbrary addin. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Does Spotty Support Squeezebox Radio Preset Buttons?
Hi, I`ve just upgraded to 7.9.1 LMS and Spotty. I`ve not had any luck with assigning presents to playlists in spotify using this new setup. Assigning a specific Spotify track to a preset seemed to work though, so I`m wondering if preset support is partially broken. Has anyone been successful in assigning a SB Radio preset button to a Spotify playlist when using Spotty? scoob101's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4957 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107723 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
