Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.9.0 - now with experimental Spotify Connect support!
I've been having the same pause/restart issue with playback, just noticed it in the past week. Upgraded today to 1.99.5 but the problem is still there. Could you please take a note of the Connect daemon's PID, and check again once you've experienced the issue? -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Radio Paradise Lossless Streaming (Plugin v2)
Hi - there should be a text file of the log from about 5 minutes this evening. I selected the Flac stream and it started playing Florence & The Machine at approx. 22:44. It played about half the song then just stopped. I had to select the flac stream again and hit play. It then started playing 10,000 Maniacs, it played all this song successfully. I probably need to improve the logging as I don't see the reason why it would pick up the next segment. The AAC 320kbs stream plays perfectly, without stopping, sometimes for That's a single stream, whereas FLAC is streamed in "segments", groups of tracks, and requires code to get new segments whenever one comes to an end etc. It's a totally different mechanism. Unfortunately. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.9.0 - now with experimental Spotify Connect support!
An issue that I've notice we both have in our plugins Spotty and YouTube: when you do a search, if you play the 1st track and while it's playing try to play 'all tracks' nothing happens. It's not the case if you play any other track. I assume it's due to the way we create the 'all tracks' entry. We add that at the beginning of the item list returned by the search, but now we have a key {total} of N and N+1 items in the list. Maybe it's because of that or maybe it's because the 'all tracks' also starts with the track that is playing, I don't know. A minor thing I think but after a quick look I did not find a solution (yet) LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
Squeezelite-X is available in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 (Version 1607+). Squeezelite-X is a Windows 10 application that makes running Squeezelite on your PC easy. Squeezelite-X combines the excellent squeezelite software player (by Adrian Smith and Ralph Irving) with a dedicated imbedded web interface to your Logitech Media Server, all accessible from the windows tray. Additional features include: WOL to wake your server, interactively change output devices, ability to specify advances squeezelite parameters, customizable tray icon menu, sleep/idle auto off timers, media key support for your keyboard, custom browser zoom. The application is multi-monitor Dpi aware as well. This started as a DIY project for me several months ago, and was developed with advice and support from forum members over in the DIY area. Special thanks to Wirruna, oyvindo, Jeff07971, drmatt, bobbertuk and others for advice and suggestions and testing (and most importantly, encouragement). Special thanks to Adrian Smith and Ralph Irving for writing squeezelite, to mherger for all his excellent work on LMS and Spotty, and to all who keep this technology alive. This is my humble gift back to the community that has given joy over the years. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
Hope there's a quick answer for this one. Long-distance colleague has chromecast bridge on Win10. Players show and play, but live streams stop after a couple of minutes. He hasn't given a log. Anything obvious comes to mind on this? He's not registered here either [ :( ] Touch, Logitech Radio, Logitech UE Radio, O2 Joggler + SqpOS UPnPBridge - 2 paired Sonos Play1 speakers; Rocki - Sony SRS-BTM8 speaker; Pioneer WX-SMA1 speaker; - PURE One Flow internet radio: PURE Jongo S3x ; Jongo T2; Libratone Zipp Castbridge - Chromecast 1 + Chromecast Audio AirplayBridge - Loewe Airspeaker SB Player - Fire TV castalla's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15624 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104614 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

But if you use the Google app to create a group made of these 2 CC, a new player will appear in LMS and when you play using it, it will act like a CC group, i.e. play in sync. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.9.0 - now with experimental Spotify Connect support!
I was under the impression that this would e.g. enable my daughter to choose the bathroom player for playing her songs from spotify while showering, straight from her phone. Is this what it's supposed to do or am I mistaken? If you are using different accounts, then you'll have to select your account on the Radio before you can see it in your Spotify app. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.9.0 - now with experimental Spotify Connect support!
For Example I had a bug in the previous version with spotify connect I would like to know if it's resolved (the music start on the squeezebox when I start to listen Spotify on my iphone...) . Sometimes I'm in my car and the music start in my house even if the spotify connect destination is really on my iphone :D That's not a bug, but a feature: playback starts on whatever device you've chosen to play on. If you want to play on your phone, make sure you select your phone as the target in the Spotify app. (after all that's what Spotify Connect is about: control any Spotify endpoint from your Spotify app) -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
