I will try with the settings as you have tried, I set it back to 250%
(Recommended) and the situation was the same (god knows why 250% is the
recommended level.
Anyway will try at different zoom levels and report back

Hi Ynot,

I've made some progress I think. I've fixed the certificate issue but
I'm not getting the expected results. Is there anything else I can try?
I haven't entered anything in my confirguration.yaml file for the http
section. If I do I get an error trying to login into home assistant.
Without it I can access via https using my duckdns domain.

Unlikely. There are a lot of other binaires I need to build for every
new platform and that’s not easy. Unfortunately, FreeBSD is a very
marginal case, although I’ve built some other of my more simple

- I don't run LMS/Spotty and Spotify on the same computer, but would

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty and playlist folders

2019-01-03 Thread mherger

Unfortunately Spotify seems to have decided NOT to support playlist
folders through the API (see
https://github.com/spotify/web-api/issues/38#issuecomment-396925978).
But there's a potential workaround - undocumented and ugly. But it might
work (using this method:
https://github.com/spotify/web-api/issues/38#issuecomment-431600563).
Unfortunately that latter workaround would only work if Spotify was
running on the same machine as LMS/Spotty. Or maybe with some more
workarounds the information could be transferred from another computer
to be used in Spotty... Therefore I'm asking you:

I run LMS/Spotty on the same computer as a Spotify desktop app.
I don't run LMS/Spotty and Spotify on the same computer, but would be
willing to run some script every now and then to transfer folder
information.
I wouldn't want to deal with this mess, even if I'd love to use
folders.
What's a playlist folder?

Hi Michael,

It seems qobuz has the same kind of service as Spotify, it's called
Qobuz Connect:

Let's start dreaming this would be possible on LMS/Squeezebox :-)

I have logged in remotely to my second LMS instance and installed the

container setup problem as you said. I think I need to setup some static
routes. The virtual switch routing table is attached. I'm running a

Any suggestions on what static routes I should add?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)

2019-01-03 Thread DD827611

Hello,

I just tried to get Airplay working on my new FreeNAS Jail installation
of LMS. But it doesn't work like it does on my Synology NAS.

After activating the plugin I can check "Start the Bridge" but nothing
more happens. No xml is created. After LMS restart plugin is still "not
running".

On my Synology LMS I have a section in Airplay plugin "Select Binary".
This is missing in my FreeNAS plugin configs.

I read in the other plugin thread of UPNP bridge about docker host
configuration. Could such a problem exist also on my LMS jail which has
a separate IP?

If it is working in Dialogflow then you have to click integration and
choose Google Assistant. With your android device you start by saying
"Talk to LMS control" and then issue command like "Play artist Pink
Floyd in the kitchen"

Okay, i checked the server an the clients, no avahi is installed or
running.

Then i remove all created accounts ( i had to create them manually with
username + password).
After that i restarted LMS and tried to connect from Spottify App with
the Spotify Plugin as described in the Plugin page.

I can not see the "Spotty Authentication", so i am not able to connect
to the Plugin.

Attached you will find the server log (with spotty loglevel "DEBUG").

In order to install secured certificates on a rpi with Hassbian, I
logged in as homeassistant user (sudo -u homeassistant -H -s) and then
followed the instructions detailed here:
https://www.splitbrain.org/blog/2017-08/10-homeassistant_duckdns_letsencrypt

In order to generate a token for Home Assitant, you have to navigate to

Thanks Philippe. I'll have a look at the container network settings and
see what I can do.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Synology 7.9.2 packages

2019-01-03 Thread pinkdot

Hi Pumpkin,

probably not. All packages are based on 2 sources:

- official Synology builds
- Logitech Slimserver Git.

This means that currently there is no Audio::Scan 1.02 available, except
for Armhf based hardware.
What nas do you have?

Greetings and best wishes,

Martin

Hi @nickb

Thanks for the insights. Interesting.

As it happens, I'm using the (relatively) new AMAZON.SearchQuery slot
and it's excellent at picking up odd track and band names ('Hootie and
the Blowfish' is my current test and Alexa picks that up perfectly).

However, it's one step up, two steps back. It turns out you cannot
combine a SearchQuery slot with a custom slot. So I cannot implement a
natural phrase like;

> 'Alexa, ask Squeeze Box to play my playlist Seventies Classics in the
> Kitchen'

As I cannot include the device name / location slot along with the
SqearchQuery slot. I understand why, but it's frustrating :-(

Welcome back Meep!

FWIW I've spoken in person to two (Amazon) Alexa dev advocates (or
similar) here in London and the response has not been encouraging. The
first told me to call him some time to chat about the issue (I didn't
bother) and the second a month ago explained that basically Alexa teams
and builds are entirely independent across countries, so the fact that
it's been in the US beta for this long but nowhere else is not
promising.

He also said, don't worry too much about what built-in intents and in
particular their slots can and can't hold and that home-made slot types
with lots of data are not far off. This implied (to me at least) that
they results from the Music*Intent slots haven't been as stellar as
perhaps I'd imagined they were, but then I haven't bothered trying to
build a US skill to find out.

Probably not much point yet if you've got it working already. Some minor
functional tweaks but most of the work has been in expanding the docs,
the automated build process, supporting more servers, translations and
adding / improving MQTT as a transport. Keep an eye on the 'issues list'
(https://github.com/declension/squeeze-alexa/issues/) and the release
notes I guess.

Actually my own build-redeploy-test cycle is down to under 20 seconds,
so it's definitely possible, but only using some of the tooling (as
above) I added in the meantime...
