I tried the full path and yes this is where I copied the shell scripts. Also tried chmod 777 on /config/shell and still no good :-(. When I login as root (su) and go to the /config/shell folder the script files are there. I tried to run it and it failed though. See pic. When you run the chmod command should anything happen. It just goes back to the prompt. I ran chmod 777 -R /config/shell. Might be time to start over and give it one last shot. What command do you use to install home assistant in docker? Maybe starting fresh with the proper command will yield benefits. This is what I used. sudo docker run --name home-assistant --restart=always --net=host --privileged -itd -v /volume1/web/docker/homeassistant:/config -v /usr/syno/etc/certificate:/certificate --device /dev/ttyACM0 homeassistant/home-assistant:latest grimmace92's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67328 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109273 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Other times, the sound with stop and it will not resume until I click on "next track" either on LMS web control or via the app I have on my phone. If I have my Sonos sync'd with my Boom, the Boom will sometimes display buffering when the sound stops. The buffering display on the Boom I've only noticed when playing a Pandora stream. Clicking next track seems to "fix" the issue 90% of the time. I've had to power off and power on and restart the plugin the other ~10% of the time. When playing music from my local library it I havn't noticed the buffer issue, but just the song stops mid stream and doesn't resume until user input of some sort. All plugin settings are default except for the audio buffer which I've set to 3000...but it doesn't seem to be significantly different from the default of 1000 ms. I've tried changing most of the settings and havn't noticed any significant difference. I have no permissions to access the folders. > SSH to squeezeboxserver@localhost is also not possible. > I am very basic with Ubuntu, what could I do? I figured out how I can install the Denon AVP Plugin with mostly the graphical interface of Ubuntu 18.04: Before installing the LMS onto a blank system I created the user "squeezeboxserver" in the Ubuntu Settings-Details-Users section and assigned a password. I then switched to the just generated user and installed the logitech media server according to this guide: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Debian_Package Thereafter I pulled the plugin from the google archive: https://storage.googleapis.com/google-code-archive-downloads/v2/code.google.com/denonavpcontrol/DenonAvpControl_1_9_2.zip I was now able to unzip, extract the whole folder to the path "/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/Plugins". After a restart of the LMS "sudo service logitechmediaserver stop", "sudo service logitechmediaserver start" the plugin showed up as active in the LMS web interface settings "Plugins" tab. I could now safely return to my default Ubuntu user. LMS and the plugin will automatically start up after a re-boot, logging in to the "squeezeboxserver" account is not necessary. I hope this will help other noobs that run into the same problem. I will re-post my finding in the "Manually installing plugin zips" thread. squeezehouse's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67065 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60114 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
As described a couple posts above, SLX now terminates the squeezelite process on Sleep and then restarts it on Wake. Underneath the covers, squeezelite-win.exe runs as a separate process and on wake (prior to this change) squeezelite-win.exe might wake up before or after SLX itself. Also, squeezelite can take its sweet time reconnecting to the server (often around 20-30 seconds). This caused a couple issues. One, In the material skin, you might be looking at a scary "looking for players" screen for 20-30 seconds, or a different player will be selected in the interface. Two, upon wake the SLX taskbar icon would blink orange after Wake. This change allows me to control and know the order that application will wake up, get squeezelite-win.exe to connect to the server faster and avoid the orange taskbar icon. But there is side effect you may see. The squeezelite-win.exe process for some reason aborts itself if the computer is resumed unattended with no operator present. This can happen if your computer is woke externally via wake on lan, or, say, wakes up in the middle of the night to perform a backup or something. You may see a message "squeezelite aborted. Just add a shortcut to the SLX executable to you Startup folder. That folder looks something like: C:\Users\gregd\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup A quick way to get there on Win 10 is to open file explorer and type shell:startup in the address bar. In 2.0.8, on the Sleep signal from the OS, SLX will terminate its squeezelite player (running as a separate process) and set the SLX browser interface to blank. The on wakeup, SLX will restart squeezelite player. Before, SLX left the squeezelite player running and let it go to sleep and wake on its own. I found this approach improves wakeup performance and eliminates a condition where SLX taskbar icon is blinking orange on wake. 2.0.9 - Minor changes in the "undocumented" Skin Preset commands. The end effect was to make the transition from preset to another happen perfectly smoothly. (I'm obsessive about things like flicker and flashes of chaos when screens resize). I also added a couple undocumented Skin presets. 2.0.10 - Fixed a bug. Sometime recently I inadvertently introduced a bug where on the very first run of SLX, on a machine it has not run on before, where the SLX settings have never been set, then the application/tray menu would not appear until the computer or SLX was restarted. For those that care, there are now 5 "undocumented" Skin presets commands available to use as built-in commands in your custom menu. 26486 R Greg Dawson +---+ |Filename: SkinPresets.PNG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=26486| +---+ Squeezelite-X rgdawson's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65236 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I just installed LMS on a Ubuntu Server VM. Runs smooth with your plugin now :) Thank you very much for that. Sure, running LMS in a jail is much easier. But for me it's OK. If the only one working is artist for music source lms (this action does not require a shell script file at this time), then the shell files are not being called properly and the likely cause of that is path to the shell scripts is incorrect or the shell script file rights are incorrect / not executable. Check the configuration.yaml section and confirm the path to the files is correct. In addition you could chmod the shell files with 777 to ensure they are executable by all. Hi Paul Thank you. After a few extra trials, I got it. The IP address without HTTP or anything works. I need to use the port 9002 because that's how LMS is setup on my Synology NAS. So, in your container, you have direct access to the native network 192.168.1.x and you aheva NAT to 10.x, right? It might be than that, seeing 2 NIC, the bridge uses the 10.x as you say. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
The host field should be the hostname or IP address of your LMS server. You should not need to change the port numbers from their default. The player name is for a local Squeezelite instance. Once you are in you can change which player you are controlling via the embedded web interface to LMS that Squeezelite-X provides. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
I don't understand how to configure Squeezelite-X. Is there a manual for it? In particular I installed it from the Microsoft Store and it opens up in "Settings - Application" ... On the first page of this thread I see a screen dump where "host" = LMS2 ... I would have thought I could enter the HTTP address of my LMS here, in particular because when I push the button I see a request for Web Server Port. Anyway, that doesn't work, so I tried to enter an arbitrary name ("LMS") and that doesn't work either. At the bottom status bar I get "Logitech Media Server did not respond. (LMS:9002) ... well, sure it doesn't ... and when I enter the proper HTTP address, the program cuts this short and shows only (http:9002) ... so, how do I get this to talk to my LMS? Under Player Name (next setting) I typed piCorePlayer because I thought maybe I can control my player with Squeezelite-X, but I'm not sure. Maybe I don't understand what Squeezelite-X is intended for... /Claus cfuttrup's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32784 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
