[SlimDevices: Plugins] How to favorite albums on Qobuz
I'm using LMS 7.7.6. I don't see how to favorite albums in Qobuz, only songs. Help much appreciated. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
First, Michael, thanks so much for your quick updates (and all your work in general)! I just updated M Info plugin to v1.3.1 (not 1.3.0)? I tested some spotify and qobuz streams, there were a couple of songs I tested (for example, Norah Jones Stuck from the album The Fall) that did not return lyrics. I then tried to search Chart Lyrics web UI, and they didn't have them, but when I tried AZlyrics, the web UI did present the correct lyrics. So is there a tweak or two still needed for your new searches that include AZlyrics? What about this source ?https://github.com/rhnvrm/lyric-api favmusic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68881 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99537 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

It makes sense to leave that functionality to the phone's interface. I stand by my other example. There are a number of tweaks I'd make to the skin if I could. What gets what font size, the location and size of certain buttons. Nitpicky stuff. Hi, Is there any way of accessing the list of local text files. They are displayed under a URL like this: http://192.168.0.18:9000/mai/localfile/b70583dfd63e580fcdf9926f2aa5e215/index.txt Is there a way to obtain the list of files and possibly which albums they are associated to ? Im not sure that I agree with Craigs idea of a central pot. My understanding was that a .lrc file would only work if the file name was the same as the .flac Having lyrics in a central place is going to need some kind of lookup whereas named identically to the FLAC in its same folder is going to be much less of a cpu task. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
I have tested the embedded lyrics options for local music with material skin Info button, and it works great (to test, I disconnected the LMS system from the internet, and confirmed that the Info button on material skin still returned Lyrics, even though the M plug couldn't get artist and album info because of the lack of internet connection). I still have a question on M plugin getting lyrics when playing a song from Spotty or Qobuz sources. Sometimes the lyrics are found, and sometimes not. Again, I know that is likely an issue with the lyrics providers. When I search the internet for lyrics for the same songs, I can find them, usually on AZlyrics. I found this listing of lyrics providers and their API info here: https://www.programmableweb.com/category/lyrics/api https://www.azlyrics.com/ So my question is what providers are M plugin searching, and could some of these other sources be easily implemented? Then I could have a look at the names there. Maybe some are wrong from begin with. What is being presented is A-tilde CurrencySign ... which in Unicode would be C3 A4 ... which if taken as UTF8 would be a-umlaut So - in the case of that particular device listing it appears to have provided the name in UTF8 but it is being presented as if Unicode. Presumably the charset of a device name is not consistent between device driver writers. It is weird the exact same letter appears correctly once but incorrectly another time. Are you able to select as use the output devices that are incorrectly displayed? I may need to write my own code to enumerate the output devices. How about trying Philippe's Chromecast Bridge in Passthrough mode instead since this device seems to support that as well.
