[SlimDevices: Plugins] How to favorite albums on Qobuz

2019-03-01 Thread basslover

I'm using LMS 7.7.6. I don't see how to favorite albums in Qobuz, only
songs. Help much appreciated. Thanks!

First, Michael, thanks so much for your quick updates (and all your work
in general)!

I just updated M Info plugin to v1.3.1 (not 1.3.0)? I tested some
spotify and qobuz streams, there were a couple of songs I tested (for
example, Norah Jones Stuck from the album The Fall) that did not return
lyrics. I then tried to search Chart Lyrics web UI, and they didn't
have them, but when I tried AZlyrics, the web UI did present the correct
lyrics. So is there a tweak or two still needed for your new searches
that include AZlyrics?

What about this source ?https://github.com/rhnvrm/lyric-api

You know, I just grew accustomed to having one in the app interface. It
makes sense to leave that functionality to the phone's interface.

I stand by my other example. There are a number of tweaks I'd make to
the skin if I could. What gets what font size, the location and size of
certain buttons. Nitpicky stuff. I love the app.

I'll revisit dock view but I'm referring more like having to dig into a
menu to select a repeat option, rather than having a series of taps
cycle through options. Or, no back button, so a new operation begins
with home, then favorites again, then selecting a different favorite.

2019-03-01 Thread hopkins

Hi,

Is there any way of accessing the list of local text files. They are
displayed under a URL like this:
http://192.168.0.18:9000/mai/localfile/b70583dfd63e580fcdf9926f2aa5e215/index.txt
Is there a way to obtain the list of files and possibly which albums
they are associated to ?
Will the CLI interface evolve to take this into account ?

Thanks

Fortunately that wasn't necessary. For some unknown reason, the entire
library directory tree disappeared...as in file explorer even thought
the directory was empty. I deferred panic till I rebooted everything,
including the attached storage and it all reappeared.

The Squeeze Ctrl/SB Player combo is the best I've ever used. The phone
interface is a little fussy to use at arms length with one finger in the

I’m not sure that I agree with Craig’s idea of a central pot. My
understanding was that a .lrc file would only work if the file name was
the same as the .flac
Having lyrics in a central place is going to need some kind of lookup
whereas named identically to the FLAC in its same folder is going to be
much less of a cpu task. The storage overhead is surely minimal?

v1.3.0 comes with improved Lyrics support:

- Define a folder where to store the downloaded lyrics
- fall back to azlyrics.com if chartlyrics.com fails

The local folder probably is a bit more simplistic than you'd wish for.
But it would keep downloaded lyrics anyway. I'm not sure how well this
will work once you've downloaded a few hundred or thousand files... It's
simple text files. You could always move them to the track folder with
the correct name.

lyrics-finder.com looks like a great tool to embed lyrics into local
music files.

However, for music played from online sources like spotty/qobuz, M
plugin still needs to go out and get the lyrics each time. I've got an
email into AZLyrics to see if they have an API interface

This is the link to the clip that pauses and forwards correctly.

The first clip has this detail when playing: 0, YouTube (aac@Hz)

The second clip has this detail when playing: 160kbps CBR, YouTube
(aac@44100Hz)

So the issue may well be the format these clips are stored in YouTube?

Both clips are to the same concert.

If you're taking requests... Could you make the directory for lyrics
configurable? i.e. like the setting for images. Then you could have
-$lyricsDir/artist/title.lrc- This would prevent having duplicate lyrics
(if you had the same artist+title but on different albums (live albums,
compilations, etc))

far as the bridge is concerned, it’s a full restart. There might be

2019-03-01 Thread favmusic

I have tested the embedded lyrics options for local music with material
skin Info button, and it works great (to test, I disconnected the LMS
system from the internet, and confirmed that the Info button on material
skin still returned Lyrics, even though the M plug couldn't get artist
and album info because of the lack of internet connection).

I still have a question on M plugin getting lyrics when playing a song
from Spotty or Qobuz sources. Sometimes the lyrics are found, and
sometimes not. Again, I know that is likely an issue with the lyrics
providers. When I search the internet for lyrics for the same songs, I
can find them, usually on AZlyrics. I found this listing of lyrics
providers and their API info here:

https://www.programmableweb.com/category/lyrics/api

https://www.azlyrics.com/

So my question is what providers are M plugin searching, and could
some of these other sources be easily implemented? Thanks

If the OP needs gapless then he will need Flow mode. I happen to know
there is a good example of such set up in his documentation.
I’m using with a CCA. The only thing that doesn’t quite work is “Sleep”
if you select “sleep at end of track” you get a micro second or two of
the next.

I haven't tested that, yet (not my notebook), but I will do so.

That's what I meant and that's why I asked how to get to this list (or
the names) within Windows. Then I could have a look at the names there.
Maybe some are wrong from begin with.

What is being presented is A-tilde CurrencySign ... which in Unicode
would be C3 A4 ... which if taken as UTF8 would be a-umlaut

So - in the case of that particular device listing it appears to have
provided the name in UTF8 but it is being presented as if Unicode.
Presumably the charset of a device name is not consistent between device
driver writers.

Since I am relying on squeezelite to return the list of output devices,
I'm not sure what to do. It is weird the exact same letter appears
correctly once but incorrectly another time. Are you able to select as
use the output devices that are incorrectly displayed? I may need to
write my own code to enumerate the output devices.

I have to confirm what others said
plugin 0.86.1 (I tried reverting to 0.86.0 too)
on Synology + LMS 7.9.1

Search and thumbanils work fine

Sound "cuts" every 8 seconds (on music)
Sound is OK on other videos

I'd be glad to help test things if I can.
