Hi Philippe, thanks, I will reply when I am back home, I'm travelling

latest release. Perl I don't know... and I have to find out yet how to
figure this out. I'll get back as soon as I am back home!

[SlimDevices: Plugins] YouTube plugin can no longer access my account

2019-04-21 Thread Phil Meyer
I had a working YouTube plugin; I could access by YouTube playlists, etc.

However, it has stopped working. I can play Recently Played videos, but any
other YouTube plugin searches just displays a blank page.

I do remember getting an email from YouTube a while back stating that my
project's access to and use of the YouTube Data API Service would be disabled
if my project remained inactive for 90 consecutive days. I had 1 day to access
the project, but I was away.

I guess this is the problembut I can't figure out what to do to re-enable it.

LMS will cache URLs - so not only restart but also probably delete the
database that caches images. If using Touch / Radio then also need to
restart those as they have caches as well.

I'm getting the speed thing in MusicBee too, which is more of a normal
player, and free. Since you mentioned VLC I tried that too. It played
better, no speed or stuttering issues, but dropped out and stopped
playing after about 4 minutes. So it's not just LMS. I'm also reporting
this on the RP forum.

The logos are obtained from a BBC DAB site so they are removing all
logos with suffixes fm , mw or uk. Also some logos no longer work at
600x600 - so there are few cosmetic issues which show up after caches
expire. So after a plugin update you need to update any custom URLs,r
Favorites or button settings that have been created.

1.6.5 Still has a few issues with scotland fm /mw cymru 2 etc.
I had hoped to to release a new version with logos updated but was
looking into an issue that one user had a live stream restart issue with
sleeping Windows. I'd like to do just one update. I cannot repeat the
issue and I think user has not replied with more info.

Your example seeks to obtain a logo for 'bbc_radio_fourfm'. This no
longer works, and was replaced by 'bbc_radio_four' in bpa's recent
update.

As the logo URL is embedded in an iPlayer URL, I'm guessing that you are
using an "old" favourite or preset, which still has the "old"
bbc_radio_fourfm embedded in it.

Perhaps you just need to re-save your favourites/presets. Just a

oh ... I now see what you mean, sorry I was confused with the log. So
the last bummer is that, although the track duration is supposed to be

stops, as the time is never reached. That, I can fix, hoping this is the

I get the same issue, stuttering play, and occasional "weird" speeding
up. I've tried it using VLC on a PC (same home network, same flac URL)
and it works perfectly. There's just something odd with my version of

Every Qobuz playlist stops sooner or later and the same happens for some

That's just not fun. And constant testing just costs too much time

I'm unsure if you understood me correctly.
My intention was not to show that sometime pause or stop command don't
works as expected.

The log shows the playing of an album, which stops after the fourth song
without any user action.

And I observe the same effect on Qobuz playlists that they are ended
prematurely.
Only this can be reproduced worse with playlists, so I have searched for
an album with which I can reproduce it.

I use SqueezePlay and Squeezelite-X on Windows, Squeezecommander and
Orangesqueeze and Chrome with Material Skin on Android.
Also for test purposes I try iPend on an old iPad one.

I'm not sure Systemline are fully functioning, but why not shoot them an
e-mail?
