My Spotlight isn't finding it... > Problem solved, thanks to Ralphy and Find Any File. The following is posted as a courtesy to any who could use the info. The replacement squeezelite binary--or binaries considering I put in more than one--went here: Code: ~/Library/Caches/Squeezebox/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/LocalPlayer/Bin They are much bigger than the 2014 binaries which were installed by local player and don't include MP3 codec support. I had to change names to match what local player seems to expect. And there's a chance I bungled and mixed up the 64-bit with the 32-bit, but here is how I changed the names to match: -squeezelite-i386- became -squeezelite-osx-i386- AND -squeezelite-x86_64- became -squeezelite-osx- Each about 2.5MB by the way. A third binary, -squeezelite,-, 5MB I kept -squeezelite-. And I'm pretty sure I didn't need to put in ALL those files, but I don't care. I'm up and playing MP3s...and flac...and WAV, with Local Player on our new/old Mac Pro with Sierra Server! Hi Michael, I too experienced random/pause with v2.8.4 I did enable Info logging for the spotify add on and it seems to help However - I observed (in htop) an increased in cpu usage when spotify is jumping to the next track. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.8.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Question When an album on Spotify (generally compilations albums) contain a track that no longer exists on Spotify, the Spotify app just skips the track and moves on to play the next available track. But Spotty halts playback. If you double click the unavailable track in the web interface, playback skips that track, and plays the next. Is this something that can be detected, and worked around? I think this proves that and/& does cause issues. I do understand that there's a problem. But if it's not a technical error (bug in the code), there's little I can do. If services decide to use "and" instead of "&" or vice versa, then that's their decision. It's unfortunate that they seem to handle this inconsistently, which leads to different spelling finding results on one service but the other. I could certainly try both spellings. But that could easily get out of control: you already tested four variations. And you didn't notice that the plugin might have run eight queries for the Lyrics alone, as there are multiple sources. @ michael I tagged Bell Bottom Blues by Derek & The Dominos for Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs in 4 different ways. I didn't choose the track Layla as that is in ChartLyrics twice - once by Derek and the Dominos (their style) and once by Eric Clapton. I didn't want confusion. 27674 I then played each noting the results which are (from the UK jury) as follows The first 2 columns represent how the track has been tagged for Artist name & Album name 27675 I think this proves that and/& does cause issues. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
I tried to install this for the first time on Windows 10 and after entering host name and player name I get "Failed to create key Squeezelite-X". What am I doing wrong? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: YouTube Plugin
Dear Philippe, thanks for your valuable plugin, I used it for a long time. Currently, with v. 0.88 and LMS 7.9.2 - 1561089896 I'm not able to perform any search. The result is always "Empty". Maybe some changes on Youtube side? thanks miketyson's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62447 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87731 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
