Then my mistake. I was thinking it might be a Material question, because the Qobuz plugin, or LMS, displays the expected series of breadcrumbs when using the default skin, example: Home > Qobuz > Search (melody) > Artists > Melody Gardot > Songs Oh... I take that back. My bad: I didn't carefully read your posting and thought it was another request for search history. Yes, I can select the LMS, but after a 15s spin it just returns to "Problems to connect" "Try again or switch library" Then I restarted the Touch and selected the LMS again and then it worked. Seems consistent when I do it this way, but should a restart of the Touch really be nessesary? I have the EDO kernel installed, but I guess that shouldn't make a difference? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SiriusXM?
This sort of issue is becoming more prevalent i.e. a source that used to work natively in SN/LMS drops support but it is there for the likes of Amazon, Roku, Sonos devices etc. My generic solution is a Pi streamer attached to my Hi-Fi which will stream ANY source that you can plug in to the Hi-Fi to LMS via a "Tune in URL". You can do this with piCorePlayer on said Pi with Squeezelite & LMS disabled but pcp-streamer switched ON and something akin to a Behringer UCA202 (a joint ADC & DAC) as the interface between Hi-Fi and Pi. However pcp-streamer has a couple of downsides that I don't like. Instead I use the same hardware but with Raspbian, Liquidsoap & Icecast2 installed. I followed these 2 how to's https://iotsblog.wordpress.com/2016/02/25/wireless-streaming-vinyl-to-squeezebox/ - which gives you mp3 streaming then improved to FLAC streaming in - https://iotsblog.wordpress.com/2016/10/22/high-end-wireless-vinyl-streaming/ This gives you exactly what stream-what-you-hear does on Windows but is more flexible in that a) its an always on headless Pi and b) it will stream anything that is output by the Hi-Fi so it could be SiriusXm on Amazon Alexa device or it could be Vinyl played on your turntable. Lag is about 3 seconds. You can also, of course, do the same with the WAVInput plugin if your source is close enough to your LMS server. None of these solutions support Metadata but I have hacked favoutites.opml so at least I have a nice icon 27745 +---+ |Filename: 2019-07-23 16_59_37-Logitech Media Server.jpg| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=27745| +---+ VB2.4 STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) Living Room* - Joggler & SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 -> Celestion F20s *Office* - Pi3+Sreen -> Sony TAFE320 -> Celestion F10s / Pi2+DAC & SB3 -> Onkyo CRN755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - Pi2+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - SB Touch ->Sherwood AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s Everything controlled by iPeng d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110783 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi Michael, if I open the strings.txt file from MAI I can see the EN and DE strings. If I add NL strings would that work? Yes. Make sure it's "NLWhatever string". The separating tabs are important. Using spaces would break the file. If you want to see the updates without restarting LMS you should run it with the --checkstrings parameter. That would refresh the strings every second (if needed). I have looked at that code for ages. IIRC The code was supposed to show the program info if the user skips back to start of a program as BBC provide start time and duration of a program in the "Now" when first played . However if the users pauses and/or skips back/forward arbitrary amounts - it gets hairy as it can be hard to determine what is the timestamp of the audio being transmitted. I thought I had it sorted but it was a pain to test - waiting for ages to get program changeovers. I notice BBC on Web and BBC Sounds now only support skip back to start of program - whereas before on Web you could skip back up arbitrary amounts to 3 hours - and their handling of metadata is also broken out into "Now" & "Recent Tracks". Guess they had similar issues. BTW for any other late readers to this part of the thread - skip back is DASH only. If you are pausing MP3 or HLS stream - I don't know happens - I added metadata intended for "live" only. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Play short clips on another SB: "Dinner time!"
Well that was a bit of fun Set up LMS Announce https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?109096-Announce-LMS-Announce-play-announcements-notifications&highlight=lms+announce to play a doorbell sound on what I thought was the Kitchen boom. I could faintly hear it...raced around to all the other booms in the house, couldn't find it. Until I realised LMS Announce doesn't quite support specifying the correct player and my doorbell sound was playing on the outside Classic on the outdoor speakers. Well ... maybe that's another use case. Broadcast the doorbell when I'm outside ;-) kidhazy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42259 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=23592 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Thanks pippin. Yes, Roon core and LMS are on different machines and it is like you say, I can move from LMS to Roon but not viceversa. I can neither do it on the device itself unless I disable it in Roon first and also restart LMS to pick it up. Not sure why it behaves like this?
