I do not know what triggered it, maybe an minor upgrade of my Synology operating system - but Spotify Connect does not work at all anymore for me. Did you enable media server features on your NAS? My players are vanishing automatically and one option of Spotty activates itself: "Squeezebox Player im Spotify Connect Modus nicht im lokalen Netzwerk bekannt geben." I unchecked this option now many times and saved it but after some time it reappears. If the spotty deamon dies quickly for a few times, that option would be enabled, in order to prevent the crashes. Disabling it therefore won't help. Can someone please help with streaming Ogg Vorbis from Spotty. I have the Spotty 2.8.4 with the Spotty Helper for FreeBSD (not sure if i need it) installed. The server is a RP 3 running Max2Play 2.50 which uses Squeezelite player. Ive tried to disable Ogg Vorbis within \Advanced\FileTypes\. I get skipping when streaming which will go away when I click on the player bar which changes to convert to FLAC. Any ideas? How did you disable Ogg Vorbis? I am running Spotty on my media server at home, feeding into my whole house audio system. When I am in one of the rooms, and I load Spotify on my iPhone, I see the option "Connect to a Device" and the option to select "Listening on MyServerName" and a speaker icon to the left. I select this option and mostly I don't see what is playing. Occasionally, I do see what is playing. But I have not figured out why sometimes it shows and sometimes it does not. You'd only see playing information if you started playback from the Spotify app itself.
