Sometimes issues on the local network prevent that from happening. Don't know if that is you issue or not, but it would not surprise me. As it so happens the discovery protocol also returns the IP address of the discovered server(s). The same thing happens in Webui. But does this happen with any image, or can you narrow it down to one/some? Also Ive found a quick way to crash the LMS server, just go to artist information>pictures. This does not produce an entry in the LMS server log but you get the same windows app log fault with module EV.DLL I also did a rescan and downloaded all the artist artwork into a defined folder. The scan worked fine but made no difference. That's really odd, as the image resizing module has not changed in years. I don't understand why it would start crashing :-(. Is there anyway I can access previous builds of LMS, that way I can narrow down when this started to happen? May 2018 seems a long time ago. No, I don't archive nightlies longer than a few days. The crash only occurs if the picture is not cached locally and needs to go online to retrieve it. I think the "image Not found error" in the LMS server log is not the issue, I think LMS crashes when it finds an image to download. Do you have a folder for those images defined in the plugin settings? Try to get an image for all artists in there. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SuperDateTime - Current Date/Temperature and/or Baseball Screensaver
To all, I installed the new nightly release of LMS 8 but found that SDT is not supported. SDT is not offered as an option in "Player/Basic Setting" and "Plugins" shows SDT unchecked with a message indicating that the current SDT is not compatible with the new LMS version. Original Date/Time plugin is still working. Any one else with this problem? Just FYI - I noticed an odd quirk (it may already be covered previously) with Host Name field in the application settings page. It correctly identified both my LMS libraries by name, and had the correct ports for them, BUT when you selected either of them it reported "-no LMS Library Found-". Manually entering the NAS or Server IP address instead resulted in it connecting fine and consequently it isn't issue as its all running fine using IP library addressing. My MP3 collection is a HUGE mixed up mess that needs to be seriously cleaned up and purged for exactly the same reasons you just mentioned. Sadly, I've got an increasingly nasty case of tinnitus that I've had since childhood, but has gotten somewhat worse with the birth of my 2 kids in the last 5 years. Perhaps it's the screaming. Perhaps it's that I'm just turning 50. At any rate, it will be interesting to see, once I get these files cleaned up/upgraded, if I'll be able to tell the difference between 128k and something as delicious sounding as FLAC. However, I'm still holding on to my vinyls. They're safely hidden away here at the house where no meddling kids can find them. A couple more years of maturity in these boys and I'll bust out the turntable and turn these boys on to some of my gems like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Mingus, and Monk... Maybe even throw in some Allman Brothers, Deep Purple or ELO. Then again... Spotify has 320k doesn't it... Makes me think about deleting or at least seriously purging the MP3 directory. noexit's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66502 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111486 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
Hi, The same thing happens in Webui. As a last resort I installed an early version of 7.9.2 (v7.9.2, 1527493162, Mon May 28 10:08:13 WEDT 2018) and all works ok again, all pictures accessed via "artist information>pictures" download without error. So I reinstalled version v7.9.2, 1578996832, Tue Jan 14 12:09:46 WEST 2020 and "artist information>pictures" cause a crash again with the fault caused by module EV.DLL Is there anyway I can access previous builds of LMS, that way I can narrow down when this started to happen? May 2018 seems a long time ago. The crash only occurs if the picture is not cached locally and needs to go online to retrieve it. I think the "image Not found error" in the LMS server log is not the issue, I think LMS crashes when it finds an image to download. ajs6000's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=48607 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99537 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
@michael Material uses Classic skin for its settings pages. The Presets Editor plugin has some javascript connected to the selection menu / combobox next to each preset. The idea being that selecting an entry fills in the relevant preset. However, this does not happen in Material nor Classic. Thanks! I'll look into this. (what a pity we didn't see this before the 7.9.2 release :-D) -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
