Not sure what you are referring to. But the add/play buttons that appear
on hover should not affect activating an item. Just checked on my Linux
laptop under Wayland, and a touch on an album cover produces the track
listing - same with a click. Nothing has changed with regard to
single-tapping.

College Football is also hanging. I recommend removing all sports teams
from SDT advanced settings since the COVID 19 pandemic has all these
sports shutdown for the time being.

It's under the Advanced tab. Then select "Logging" from the pull down
list. Scroll down to "(plugin.superdatetime) - SuperDateTime
Screensaver" and change the entry to either Info or Debug. Info should
be adequate to figure out where it is hanging.

I just did some checking and expect that you have one or more teams
entered for College Basketball. The URL that SDT pulls game data from
is not returning valid JSON data causing the plugin to hang. Likely
since NCAA cancelled the rest of the season. If you remove the teams
from College Basketball, SDT should start showing weather data again.

Thanks for clarifying.
It still took me a minute to figure out what main menu you meant. For
me, the main menu icon is quite often replaced by the update
notification arrow, so I forgot about it. :o
What about shrinking the update notification icon to a smaller overlay
for the main menu icon?

Just a question on 1.5.1;
When I tap on an item I see the + and the play button and the item is
selected. When I tap again, then I go to the next menu item. Previously
this was one tap if I remember correctly.
When I scroll through artists, albums, songs this requires twice the
amount of tapping. Is this intended behaviour? Is it possible to use
single tapping, for example via a menu setting?

Only, if the plugin developer assigns the wrong type to the album/play
list.
This is the case in the Qobuz plugin, for example.
I would then see to it that this is changed. It's not nice anyway if the
add/play buttons are displayed but have no function.

But regardless of this, one could distinguish the two cases and store a
separate grid state for lists with add/play buttons.

awesome...thanks for creating this!!

I have one question...I only see very fundamental settings and from
screenshots earlier in the thread it looks like there are configurable
options. In "Settings" from windows for the app I just see things like
terminate, reset, repair, uninstall, etc.

Where do I gain access to the other options?

Thanks!!

I think that only two cases would help a lot.

1.) All playlists or track lists. You already recognize this mode,
because in this case you display the symbols for "Add" and "Play" in the
header.

2.) All other lists where you can toggle the view.

If you save the last set value for each of these two cases separately,
this would be completely sufficient.

Currently you save the value (grid or list) as well, but only for one
case.

A plugin developer can control this cases with the item value *type =>
'link'* or *type => 'playlist'*.

I also have the same problem when shutting down my win10 with the app
running in background. App was installed from windows store.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: iHeartRadio to play US live iHeart radio stations

2020-04-01 Thread bpa

I can't replicate the QNAP environment so I'll ttest LMS 8.0 a test on
another Linxu system later.

The "best" repo URL for iheart is
http://bpa-code.github.io/bpaplugins/iheartradio-repo.xml

The sourceforge repo URL can timeout which can lead to "odd" results
which is why I now "recommend" github.io URLs for repo URLs.

I did a "bulk" update of repos and URL for LMS 8.0 - a few mistakes
crept in with all the possible combination of URLs .

That said, if the repo and module workewd with on version of LMS 8.0 -
it should nto stop working with later version. I suspect a timeout on
sourceforge repo URL.

LMS updates are installed by the QNAP QLMS (Digimaster) from the
nightlies build

URL's

Code:

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/bpaplugins/iheartradio-repo.xml
  http://bpa-code.github.io/bpaplugins/repo-playhls-v2.xml

I am going to backout 1585662085 and disable auto update. 1584980762 on
Mar 23rd seems ok to me.
Would appreciate to know what URL's I should be using for repository.
Many thanks.
PS..Your code has made a huge difference to LMS for me - can't thank you
enough.

I think rather it was a rebuttal to the suggestion to use a method that
won’t work. Let’s just drop it.

Hi BPA

Cheers for the quick reply!. All sorted. Your suggestion of checking the
stream preferences did the trick. Not sure why they weren't set as you
suggested (probably me, faffing around!). Anyways, really appreciate
your solution!

Have fun!

Odd I don't think the plugin generated any on screen messages only
message in the log file. If there is no BBCiPlayer message in log file
the issues may not be specially a plugin one.
What version of the BBCiPlayer an BBCiPlayerExtras are installed ?

In BBCiPlayer Settings - both stream preferences needs to be set to DASH
> HLS > MP3 > FlashAAC. Extras specifically requires DASH and MP3 as
there is no HLS content in Extras.

But when I add it via Spotty's Search, I get something closer:

Hmmm all Material does with the "Add URL to queue" dialog is call
'["playlist", "play" (or "add"), "http://the/url;]' - Michael is there
another API I should be using instead? One that handles spotty, etc,
URLs?

Don't know why MrC is bringing this up again. I already explained the
difference (and a work around) a few postings up the page, didn't I?
This is not a Material issue.

Hi Guys

Had to recently re-install everything after a spectacular Windows10
crash. LMS and most of my plugins are working fine except 'BBCiPlayer
Extras'.

Whenever I choose a programme, I get the Album Art displayed on my
Logitech Radio OK, BUT there's a brief message that says (something
like) "Stream preference setting format missing format to play this
program..." I suspect it's something I've done/not done - a 'schoolboy
error' as they say... any advice appreciated!

Cheers

Items hidden from sub-toolbar are added to main menu.
