Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] mark favorites in Qobuz plug in
An additional question, please: If I find a user playlist I like on Qobuz using LMS, the method for albums doesn't work, and I don't see a save button on the right panel to save the playlist. Is there any way to save a playlist? The plugin sends the search string direct to radio, net web site so https://www.radio.net/search?q=beylgjan If you plug this into your web browser - it says 3 search results - yet only display one station (even trying different countries like de or se) . Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz output on LMS says 96 but my DAC says 44.1
That means that you need a player with digital output. The "Hifiberry Digi+ Pro" would be a good solution. Other vendors of audio HATs than Hifiberry are e.g. Allo or JustBoom. You just put the HAT on top of the RaspberryPi board (no cabling required). The installation of an operating system is done by copying an image on a MicroSD card. Hifiberry has its own OS: HifiberryOS ('www.hifiberry.com' (http://www.hifiberry.com)). Alternatives are e.g. Volumio ('www.volumio.org' (http://www.volumio.org)) or piCorePlayer ('www.picoreplayer.org' (http://www.picoreplayer.org)). All of them can interact with LMS. HifiberryOS and Volumio are commercial solutions while piCorePlayer is an open source projects of some forum members (= lot of support here). You'll find a description how to install the software on the according home pages. Altogether you need - RaspberryPi (3B or 4) - audio HAT - microSD card - case/enclosure - USB power supply Or follow the suggestion of d6jg. ;-) jd68's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30795 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113191 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: Simple Library Views plugin
I've just installed this plugin and implemented it with partial success. I wanted to help my partner find her albums amidst my much larger collection, and think that this plugin offers the simplest way of doing this - and it is working -almost- perfectly. I've defined a Library View with the name "Carol". I've tested the water by dropping files entitled "simple-library-views-Carol" in a bunch of folders corresponding to albums in her collection. Note I haven't used inverted commas. After a clear and rescan, it's worked perfectly if I look at Albums, Random Albums and New Music, but not so well for the Artist and Album Artist views, where about 350 extra artists are listed - this is far from the complete album artist listing, so it seems to have partly worked. Any clues as to why this is happening? Server is a Raspberry Pi 3B+ running pCP6.1.0 and LMS 8.0.0. I only have a few plugins installed. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: RadioNet plugin to enable playing stream from the radio.net service
Not directly related to the plugin, but I'd be interested to see why some stations don't show up in search. I must emphasise this happens on the WEBSITE, so it's no surprise it also happens on the plugin. Test: Search for "Bylgjan". Only "Lett Bylgjan" shows up. On the website, it thinks there are 3 results, yet only shows one. Is this a geoblocking issue? Using Google to get through to the station entry in the radio.net directory works as usual, so I'd be interested to see what results people in other countries get. I've started using the Qobuz plug in after using TIDAL on the LMS. In TIDAL I can save favorites with the heart symbol. I don't see any heart symbols in the Qobuz. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBCiPlayer V1.6 (and higher) & BBCiPlayerExtra 2.0 (and higher) Support
Morning All Im not sure if this question should be posted here or in the PiCorePlayer thread. Ive recently started listening to Radio 3 more regularly and notice that I dont get the now playing text showing on any of my devices. This in itself isnt a massive issue but it makes me wonder why not when other users certainly report that it is working. Ive read back through this thread and have all the necessary settings switched on in the BBC iPlayer plugin. My Pi4 server runs LMS via pCP 6.1.0 with the following info Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.4 - 1603273368 @ Thu Oct 22 04:21:56 CEST 2020 Hostname: piCoreLMS64 Server IP Address: 192.168.0.16 Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: piCore - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: armv7l-linux Perl Version: 5.28.0 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int Audio::Scan: 1.02 IO::Socket::SSL: Nothing Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0) Total Players Recognized: 12 I use a variety of players and have Material Skin as my default option. I dont understand the significance but I see that I have nothing against IO::Socket::SSL which doesnt look right? If I putty into my PI4 and enter the command openssl version it reports OpenSSL 1.1.0l 10 Sep 2019 but that isnt showing in LMS. Could this be the problem regarding the Radio 3 text? Actually, Ive just noticed these errors appearing at the top of the plugins screen so something is definitely amiss. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] CBC Plugin?
Just as a general reminder - I have made a CBC "Now Playing" plugin. It is still working fine. I could extend it by adding a pick list of stations / streams like I did with the Radio France plugin (when TuneIn removed them) - but I would like to avoid having to do it if this is a temporary TuneIn problem or it can be resolved easily by other methods. Since the stations are in radio.net and work via that plugin (and my plugin still adds like track / programme info) then I'm currently not inclined to add them into my plugin with the added requirement to maintain the stream URLs. @lauret, I think that the Qobuz plugin transforms the incoming signal to 16Bit/44,1kHz if the player doesn't support support Hi-Res music. @basslover, one standard configuration is a RaspberryPi with an HAT from Hifiberry and the piCorePlayer as software.
