I played around a little further - can rule out the browser I think, it happens for me with Chrome, Firefox, and Chromium Edge (also after clearing the cache), and on PCs with different Windows installations personal/work which should be fairly distinct. So perhaps something with my server? Also I noticed that sometimes the correct hotkey Ctrl+Shift+A indeed gets registered. But I couldn't identify the logic yet - it looks somewhat random (in most cases I get Ctrl+A). Found also a situation where it varied by player in the very same browser session (one player had Ctrl-Shift+A, the rest Ctrl+A). I will test further on the weekend, maybe I can indentify the conditions when it happens for me  (and if not, not a big deal) andy67's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70350 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Obvious difference is 'Database Memory Config' is 'Normal' on 7.9 (the faster of the two), but 'High' on 8.1 (odd, as this was slower when scanning) - would it make any difference upping this to 'Maximum' on Hmm... that's odd. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] LmsUpdate and LmsRepack - Synology 8.0.* packages
Here's two screenshots - note not a direct comparison, as the last rescan I did on 7.9 was for new and changed files only (so was quicker at 45 mins - full rescan usually takes just over an hour). Last night's scan on 8.1 was full clear and rescan. There's a huge difference in the Fulltext Search Index. How much RAM do you have? What memory setting are you using in Settings/Advanced/Performance? If it isn't "High" or "Max", then most likely that would be the culprit. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Last night's scan on 8.1 was full clear and rescan. But feel free to comment on the information if you think there's anything important. Note I've blurred out my IP address. LAST SCAN (NEW AND CHANGED ONLY) IN 7.9 (DS218+ PACKAGE CENTRE INSTALLATION): 34775 LAST SCAN (CLEAR ALL AND RESCAN) IN 8.1 (DS218+ DOCKER CONTAINTER): 34776 This evening, I'll do a full clear and rescan in 7.9 and post the information about that tomorrow. I've also unticked 'Enable Resource Limitiation' in 8.1's Docker container (on the assumption it will allow 8.1 to use more of the DS218+'s RAM whilst rescanning). I'll repeat the clear and rescan in 8.1. to see if that speeds it up and post findings here tomorrow too. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Community Firmware for Squeezebox Radio/Touch/Controller and LMS 8
Hi, I've factory reset my Squeezebox Touch (now on firmware 7.8). My Squeezbox Server is on 8.2. I installed the Community Firmware Plugin in Squeezebox Server. Checked the checkbox in advanced settings. My update setting is on daily. Waited for a week now but no update higher then 7.8 becomes available for the Touch. My Touch is connected to wired LAN and connections work. My Squeezebox Server software has in the meantime updated a few times to new beta's. I didn't install any kernel patches I only activated the Hires audio output module. Any ideas what I might have missed to get to the latest CFW? Or how I can solve this? Thanks a lot for help! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] LmsUpdate and LmsRepack - Synology 8.0.* packages
I carried out a 'Clear and rescan' in LMS 8.1 within Docker on my Synology DS218+ last night. I have around 25,000 tracks and some 600 playlists. A scan with the "regular" LMS 7.9 installed using Synology Package Centre takes just over an hour, but the Docker rescan took over 3 hours! Anyone got any tips about Docker or DSM settings which can up the speed of these rescans please? Here's what I set for LMS in the Docker container: I think more important than Docker parameters would be to know your LMS configuration. If these apps and patches are hosted with the maxversion overwritten in the repository.xml, everything will work automatically. That is what I did locally. Maybe there is a simple approach of overwriting maxversions for a "positive list of apps / patches" via the official repository? frankd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52885 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114630 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Well, that's odd, as its fine for me. Ctrl+A => open 'Manage players' dialog, Ctrl+Shift+A => 'Append to queue' Tooltips/menu labels match, and only one action fires with either (and the correct one). Odd.
