Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Ratings Light
I've been testing out this plugin for importing ratings. A few observations/problems: * Using the comments technique, files which have a valid rating comment (eg favstars4xx) get a correct rating imported, while files with no comment have their existing rating in the database overridden -> no rating. Is that the intended behaviour? * Importing from a playlist, this mostly works (though on my first run of testing yesterday the server would sometimes crash), but I now have a handful of tracks that mysteriously refuse to display a rating, even though all others in the same playlist do. On further examination, the database has been updated for all tracks including the no-displayed-rating ones mentioned (correctly having a RATING value in the database), so why isn't the LMS interface showing the stars anywhere that other tracks do? (Although I realise this seems to be a non-Ratings Light problem, it is only happening for files that I've rated using this import process, so I'm posing the question here just in case.) dunq's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29876 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113344 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Scan - custom rating tag problems
Hi there. I'm aware that Custom Scan is no longer supported, but for now it mostly seems to work on my server (running 8.1.1), so in the hope of any feedback from other users... LMS natively imports *OGG* ratings (RATING). Custom Scan imports *MP3* ratings (POPM) by default. All good. However, if I want to import *AAC* ratings saved by -Mediamonkey- into the tag RATE, I have to use the -custom rating tag- option in Custom Scan. I had hoped it would work like this: FILE has POPM/RATING tag (no RATE tag) -> -value untouched in database- FILE has RATE tag (no POPM/RATING tag) -> -value from tag added to database- However, as it functions for me, it is treating a custom rating tag as a -forced replacement- for the default, so all ratings for OGG/MP3 files (the custom tag RATE isn't present) are nonetheless given a new default value of 100, rather than being left with the original POPM/RATING value. Thus: FILE has POPM/RATING/RATE tag -> -*100 value* added to database- All files receive a new and wrong value even though the tag is correct. If this is unusual and the result of changes in LMS since Custom Scan stopped being developed then of course that's just life, but if this is not normal then suggestions for fixes would be welcome. dunq's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29876 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114687 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

You could try using the buffer command line switch like so, 34925 Or if you think older versions of squeezelite-win did not exhibit this issue, you could use the Legacy WMA support switch which cause Squeezelite-X to use an older version of squeezelite-win. 34926 There was some discussion about a similar problem with squeezelite here... https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?113554-SqueezeLite-on-Windows-pausing-interruption-dropout-of-audio-every-5-minutes/page6 Other than that, I'm not sure what to try. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Hi Internet Radio is no longer streaming via my Sonos speakers when connected to my LMS Server (run as a docker container) via the UPnPBridge plugin. It plays for approx 3 seconds then goes back to the beginning in a loop. This worked fine until today. I am running LMS Version: 8.1.2 - 1622353561. I have upgraded the UPnPBridge plugin to 1.61.0. I have restarted the server and have recreated the config for one of the Sonos speakers in the UPnP settings. There is no problem streaming internet radio to any of my Squeezelite players. I did take a look myself to see if something was obvious to my untrained eye - a lot there I agree. I wondered if it was something to do with the CastBridge plugin, as I was listening via a Chromecast Audio. I set the logging for that plugin to debug but couldn't find any errors there either. Next was to try on an Airplay device and it played fine. So to me, it looks like it's an issue with Chromecast,(and if so this is now in the wrong thread - sorry). 'Extra player settings' (which is re-skinned from the 'Classic' skin) does have a 'SAVE SETTINGS' button at the bottom of the screen. *Material debug:* 1. Hi Michael: About the the and others, it could be a good idea as LMS does About the Bach case, it is difficult to solve. It is a problem with all the classical music authors. Spotify uses the name and surname in all the authors and I use only the surname. I.e. Debussy, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin. could be possible to look for a substring inside a string? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
I am running the latest version of Squeezelite-X and most of the songs I play stops approx 30-40 seconds before the end. Sometimes they continue after a few seconds, sometimes they don't. Manually restarting the song from the beginning is always possible. It therefore looks like a buffering issue or something like that. I already cleared the cache, rebooted the computer, but I am not very experienced with Squeezelite-X where to look further, any suggestions? >From what I remember I haven't experienced this in the past. *Living Room:* RPI2+HifiBerry DAC+ Pro & piCorePlayer *Attic:* RPI2+HifiBerry DAC+ RCA & piCorePlayer *Other rooms:* 6x SB Radio *LMS*: Version 8.1.x on Xubuntu 20.04LTS zordaz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61726 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
