You just need to add "flac" (without the "" marks) under Disabled Audio File Extensions (Deaktivierte Audiodateierweiterungen), at the top of the Settings>Advanced>File Types page. You don't need to set the FLAC decoders to deactivated, as those settings won't be used, since LMS won't index the FLAC files once you've disabled that extension and therefore won't need to decode any. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Ratings Light
I'm checking this plugin now as a replacement of Trackstat. Looks good so far. What I miss is this: 10 star rating. I've set it to allow half star ratings, so there is a workaround, but 10 stars is more logical in my opinion. I also used trackstat to track when a song is last played, so I could use the dynamic playlist to not play this song anymore within a certain amount of time. Is this functionality also in this plugin? Or is there another plugin for this? Or is it already built in LMS? Thanks. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
Hi, I've been using Spotty with LMS for many years. Thanks for all of your work. When I pause music that is playing via Spotty and then I press play to continue the music, it always starts the track from the start. This happens regardless of track. I'm using Spotify Family and have about 4 separate people using Spotty with the one LMS server, although I've confirmed that the problem happens even when I'm the only user. I have setup the Spotify Client ID in my plugin settings. I'm using LMS 8.3.0 - 1643414649 @ audiodigitale.eu 29-01-2022. It happened with the previous LMS 8.2 (I upgraded to see if it would fix the problem) The OS is FreeBSD 12.2-RELEASE-p12 (I'm using TrueNAS 12 and running LMS in a Jail) Architecture is amd64-freebsd Perl version is 5.34.0 My only plugins (beyond the built-in ones) are: Spotty 4.8.1 (this problem has been going on a while and it happened with previous Spotty versions) Spotty Helper Application for FreeBSD 11.0.35.0 Material Skin 2.9.2 I have a variety of players including various Squeezebox Radios (running the custom firmware), Squeezebox receiver, Squeezebox Classic 3 and a Boom, but in my office (where I get the problem 100% of the time) I'm actually using Squeezelite-X since my youngest daughter pinched my Boom. I personally get the problem both from the LMS web interface (using Material Skin) and from the UI of Squeezelite-X. I don't know if I get the problem if I choose to pause on a SB Radio directly. I can get one of my daughters to confirm (but they reported the problem to me, so I guess they do). I've noticed that when playing music, the blue progress bar moves across the screen as the track progresses, but if I choose to manually pick a position (e.g. to skip forwards) then the music always starts at the start again. So I think the pause problem is part of a larger problem - I can view the music progress, but I cannot manually pick a position to start playing music from. Apologies if this is a known problem, I've had a search but there are a lot of very long threads. When I run spotty-custom from the command line, it comes up with "The image file... is valid, but it is for a machine type other than the current machine" :-( Could you be a bit more specific about where to store the spotty-custom file... Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Stream Windows PC Audio to Raspberry Pi LMS
Yet another alternative to creating a http/MP3 stream for Win audio - if your system has a "Stereo Mix" or similar (may need to be enabled from Sound control panel) - then you can use VLC to create a http/MP3 stream from the "Stereo Mix" device. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116130 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Unwanted Spotty playlists
Please can someone advise how to avoid importing Spotty playlists? I'll never use them & they needlessly extend the scan time. I don't want it to auto scan every day either. There currently is no way to only import albums or artists from online services. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Stream Windows PC Audio to Raspberry Pi LMS
SWYH is in essence the same solution. It does not require LMS to be on the same system. Paul Webster author of \"now playing\" plugins covering radio france (fip etc), planetradio (bauer - kiss, absolute, scala, jazzfm etc), kcrw, abc australia and cbc/radio-canada and, via the extra \"radio now playing\" plugin lots more - see https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?115201-announce-radio-now-playing-plugin Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116130 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Thanks for that suggestion, Paul! Interestingly, my Windows 11 setup does have a "Loopback" function that was configured with the installation of my Focusrite Scartlett 18i8 audio interface that will, I think, take the place of the "Stereo Mix" feature found in older Windows versions. So, both the old WaveInput and StreamWhatYouHear plugins could be part of the setup. However, in my current situation, the source audio is on a Windows 11 laptop and the LMS server is actually on a Raspberry Pi device. The challenge is getting the Soundcard audio from Windows to LMS on RPi... I did (sort of) successfully pull it off last night by using Rocket Broadcaster to encode the soundcard output and Rocket Audio Streaming Audio Server to "serve it up" to a TCP port on my Windows Laptop. I used Winamp to generate a Playlist to the server instance and then saved the Playlist on LMS in it's Playlist directory so that I could choose it from various Squeeze Players throughout the house. It worked however there was about a 60 second ish delay in transmission. Not exactly a deal killer for my 5 year old... but not exactly what I'm looking for either. From what I could tell this 60 latency is echoed in other forums as well with folks trying similar software acrobatics. If I come across a better solution, I'll report it here. Thanks everyone for your generosity and support! noexit's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66502 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116130 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'd be happy to help you look into improving the Spotify Connect option any way I can - that is (also) a great feature of Spotty. When I was on Duo, I only had my primary account set up in Spotty - and this is still the only one I have in the settings after the change of plans. The only difference here is that I did not use the -Spotify Client ID- option. >From my initial testing, i found that the DNS did not solve anything for me - only the fallback option in the Spotty settings seems to work for now. Historically I have been running Spotty with these two advanced settings enabled, as they overall improved my experience with Spotty: * Optimize Pre-Buffering * Monitor the connection of the Spotty Connect helper I think I will continue trying different things in my setup to see if I can get it to work again - but if you have any specific things I should try, please let me know. knoer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72672 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111923 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

EAC calls them > "non compliant CUE", for whatever reason. I want those ignored. "ignore" is applied after analysis. The DB has an "ignore" column. When looking for tracks to match ones marked "ignore" are ignored. But as they are in the DB, with analysis, should they be in your queue thay can be still used as seed tracks. CUE files are only used if their name matches a track name. e.g. "album.cue" *must* have a corresponding "album.flac", "album.ogg", or "album.mp3" etc. This has not really changed between releases. Prior to 0.1.0 if a matching cue was found for (e.g.) "album.flac" the whole album was skipped. Now the album will be split it its individual tracks for analysis. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116068 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
