Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
I have two Pis running Picore light Picore player and LMS server. They are connected by ethernet to a router and my Imac running 10.14 I want to be able to play Itunes with video on the Imac and audio on the Pi server/player. The Pi player is connected by USB to an Rma Dai2 Dac. I can play Youtube audio on my LMS but not video. Can this be done? I have read about Airplay and Sharepoint. Do these work with my setup. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Radio Now Playing plugin
It is definitely there now. The LMScommunity updater runs 4 times a day I think. However, LMS caches things - so if you happened to check a few minutes before the updated ran then you would probably have to wait an extra 30 minutes. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
Also, if at a later date I buy a CD for an album I have added as a favorite (hence positioning it in the local library, if my assumption is correct), would removing it from Spotify's favorites be enough to remove it from local library (where it would be substituted by my personal rip)? It wouldn't substitute the local copy, but sit there side by side with it. Until you remove it from the service's favorites. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
When you say "integrate local library", I see you mention favorites. I add an album as a favorite and I should find it in my local library, correct? Would it be under the correct artist, if the relevant tag is the same? Yes. "the same" sometimes is difficult to get, though... Thinking about using this to fill in "the blanks" for some artists I like, for whom I like the whole discography. Is that possible this way? Yes, that's part of the idea. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Good to hear. There is indeed a new version available in the beta channel. This is based a merge request from kwarklabs on GitHub with a lot of API improvements. I'll keep it in the beta channel for a little while so people who are testing it can give feedback in this thread. After that I'll move it to the official channel so it's pushed to all users. FLAC disabled and PCM enabled. If you have no bandwidth problem whatsoever on your network (troublesome WiFi, etc.) it might even make sense leaving it as PCM, probably slightly less CPU usage. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin
Release 2.24.0 includes : NEW FEATURE - Skip back to preceding programmes on live radio by using the '<<' and '>>' controls When listening to live radio, pressing '<<' takes you back to the start of the programme. Immediately pressing '<<' a second time rewinds to the start of the preceding programme. You can rewind to programmes up to 5 hours in the past. Pressing '>>' skips forward to the start of the following programme, or if you are listening to the current live programme, it returns you to live. I must admit, when testing this feature, I found it very convenient, it seems to match with how I listen to the radio. Turning on the radio, choosing a live radio preset, then pressing '<<' a few times to get to a programme on earlier seems to fit in with how I listen to the radio. Hope you find it useful too.
