It turns out that my kids added a long forgotten spotify account that was not included in my Spotify for developers account. So, if you ever encounter the error message "could not get access token" make sure to check your Spotty settings in LMS. Check first if you have a Spotify Client ID, follow the instructions and get such an ID. If you have such an ID access your Spotify for developers account and DOUBLE or TRIPLE check whether ALL accounts in use by you are REALLY registered there. Thanks again for your help! Thanks, Michael, I wasn't sure about the asynchronous token refreshes, but I enable them now. I also have another suspicion what went wrong but can confirm only later this day. There seems to be something wrong with adding a second account to Spotty, playing music with the first account does work, but the second account is broken and I get no access token. Now, I have really strange behavior from Spotty. One moment it works with one account, then I add my second account, which is shown with the same name as the first account, I can access playlists from the first account but not from the second account. Then after changing to the second account I get the response "no access token" and Spotty is not working anymore. When you say ssh into your box I am not quite sure where to do that. Should I go directly into each of the Squeezeboxes individually? I have 5 SB Radios and 1 SB Touch. Or should I ssh directly into the Diskstation where 'central' LMS is running. If I have to go into the Diskstation in which directory should I type the commands or does that not matter? I type exactly as you wrote with ./ but I get this response -sh: ./spotty-custom: No such file or directory I also tried it with the -x you wrote earlier. same response. My replies to these do not seem to get through, maybe because of code I included. I try to make it shorter without code. I deactivated all other Spotty helper plugins on the web interface of LMS. I accessed my Diskstation wit PuTTY, found the path, and spotty-custum in the right directory but obviously do not know how to run it. I tried several things with no effect. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.5 - improved Ogg direct, Autoplay, multi-user setup
Alternatively, is there a way for me to roll back to the latest stable version of Spotty, then deactivate auto-update and run the thing with the helper application for ARMv6/7? This was working flawlessly for me. In the long run I think I will switch to Raspberry Pi. But, as I said, I need a short-term solution because of my kids killing me  Andy_NO's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114726 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Okay, I tried that but nothing changed :( Andy_NO's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114726 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.5 - improved Ogg direct, Autoplay, multi-user setup
Browsing this thread it seems like I have an outdated setup for LMS but it worked perfectly with Spotty until a few days ago. Now I have the problem that the connection to Spotify works as usual (I have premium account), I can chose titles and they will play, but I do not hear any sound. LMS 8.0.0-1605892077 running on Synology Disk Station DSM 6.2.4-25556 Spotty v4.5.3 My devices are 5 SB Radios 1 SB Touch Can you help me with this setup or tell me how I can rollback Spotty to the last working version for me? Otherwise my kids will go crazy because they can't listen to their podcasts and music anymore... And I am not an expert coder or sys admin... Thank you very much, otherwise I would have had to throw 5 Squeezebox Radios out of my window. I didn't manage to backup settings, so a clean re-install and reconfiguration, but hey, the Radios are playing again. One side effect: Squeezer App on my Andorid phone seems to work much faster now.
