Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Success: MusicIP and Spicefly Sugarcube running on Raspberry Pi

I think you are trying to run a 32 bit application on a 64 bit system,
try following command from a terminal session
sudo apt install -y lib32z1 lib32ncurses-dev

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Trackstat not available in LMS 8.0

2020-07-27 Thread HB64

You've put the plugin in the wrong place, I believe that on PiCore you
have to create a folder called "Plugin in the
"/usr/local/slimserver/Cache" or "/mnt/mmcblk0p2/tce/slimserver/Cache"
folder, then restart LMS trough the Picorewebpage and it gets installed
and survives a restart.
For your convenience, I also place the latest version as an attachment,
unzip it and copy it to where it belongs.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicIP and Spicefly's SugarCube stopped working on latest LMS

2020-07-09 Thread HB64

For years i'm a happy user of both plugins, until now, a clean install
of my server and a fresh install of the latest LMS 8 version reveals
that both plugins do not work anymore.
The OS i'm running it on is Debian Buster and the version of LMS is
"Logitech Media Server Versie: 8.0.0 - 1594009895 @ Mon Jul 6 06:48:51
CEST 2020", i will attache a server log that shows errors on both
plugins.
If someone has a clue of whats going one here please post it.

GenPUID can not be used anymore It will always try to reach the MusicDNS
servers for fingerprinting and that servers are no more and
MusicMagicMixer makes is own fingerprints. You can speed up the
analyzing process in MusicMagicMixer when you alter the settings under
"Preferences" "General" and then "Analysis priority:" "Normal",
"Processor use:" "Maximum", "Number of threads:" "Putt here the amount
of threads your processor has, for instance mine is a core i3 with
hyperthreading so my number of threads is 4".
Nevertheless it is and will be a painstaiking slow process, a album with
15 numbers on it will take between 15 and 20 minutes on my PC.

Your problem is that you are trying to fingerprint tracks on a Pi that
is a waste of time, fingerprinting should be done on a machine that is
powerfull enough to do that. Take a look at following site
https://www.spicefly.com/ there you can find all the info you need to
get all in working order.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Success: MusicIP and Spicefly Sugarcube running on Raspberry Pi

2017-02-15 Thread HB64

Hi Frankd,

Great work, i'm using a wandboard quad for LMS now for a couple of years
and the only thing what was missing was MusciIP, well a sort of missing
it was en is running on a qnap nas and redirected to the wandboard with
xinetd this setup works reasonably well but this is even better.
Only the boot script was not working on the wandboard the headers for
the init daemon i had to change from,

Code:

# Required-Start: $remote_fs $syslog
  # Required-Stop: $remote_fs $syslog

to

Code:

# Required-Start:$local_fs $network
  # Required-Stop: $local_fs

to make it work.
Filters are working also and now all i need is a way to make receipes
and moods get recognized.
In all a very good job, thank you for your work.

Greetings,

Henk

I had opened a topic at the spicefly forum and what i see here is
exactly the way i experience the behavior of the plugin at this moment.
In fact when i look at the Sugarcube Live View page all artists and

My mix settings are Styleat 180 and Varietyat 5 changing this makes
it a little better but not a lot only with the option Shake out a Track
from the remaining Tracks with status OK enabled makes it better but
even then it's stuck at the upper regions of the alphabet.
And like you said a picture says a thousand words, only the seed track
is ok the rest not.

I wasn't able to find the last 1.9 beta at this link. Is it named
 something unusual?
You can find it on Spicedfly's 'webpage'
and 'here' (http://www.spicefly.com/files/MusicMixer1.9b6.zip) is a
direct link.
