I am having the exact same behaviour as you, however I an running on a QNAP NAS and not a Synology. The Spotty Helper I am using is a legacy is the ARM6/7 Legacy (0.12.0) and there are no errors in the LMS log. I was unable to run the Helper manually as I see this: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35116| +---+ ---- Locutus1967's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70182 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114726 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yeah...might be the right time to finally move the LMS to a Pi, I have thought of that for some time but it seems very "tinker'ey" for me and might be beyond my tech-ability. As for the upgrade, it was the LMS upgrade, which is packaged as a QNAP Package, that was upgraded to 8.2 , not an OS upgrade. I tried to downgrade to the previous QPKG but when it starts it checks for a new version and downloads it... :). I will if I can run the spotty-custom binary. -------- Locutus1967's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70182 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114726 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I tried each Helper plugin, each one at a time, and the only one that does not throw errors in the LMS log file is the Legacy ARM v6/7 plugin. I am running on a QNAP NAS with with QPackage from Digimaster that bundles Spotty and the helper apps in it. That said...my NAS is about 10 years old and I think it is an ARMv5 architecture: Operating system: QLMS 2.X (QNAP TurboStation) [Debian 9 stretch] - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: armv5tel-linux Perhaps my old NAS is off support? Spotty was working prior to the upgrade of the QPKG to 2.1 (which included Spotty 4.5.3) Thanks again Michael for your help! -------- Locutus1967's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70182 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114726 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I did try to turn all transcoding off and choosing one at a time but to not avail (with all turned off I would get errors in the Server Log). +---+ |Filename: transcode.PNG| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35091| +---+ ---- Locutus1967's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70182 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114726 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

On my Radio and Touch it displays as if it is playing the track but there is no sound. I am able to play other local media files on my NAS (QNAP). The latest upgrade (last evening) to the QPKG ins6talled LMS 8.2 and Spotty 4.5.3. I have the legacy Helper plugin as I tried to change the Helper plugins and it complained when I removed the legacy one. I have also tried messing with the file formats as suggest to no avail. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
First off...thanks to the community, especially Michael for continuing to support these amazing audio streaming devices. I recently moved up to LMS 8 on a QNAP NAS (using the QLogitech package, which automatically installs Spotty v4.3), and I am experiencing constant re-buffering, like every 30 seconds. It is making it completely unusable. I have the same behaviour on my wired Touch and my wireless Radio, so the issue is not with the wifi. My NAS will stream my local library with no problems, so I don't think it is an issue with the power of my NAS. I have read what I think is every post in this thread with hopes to find some troubleshooting tips but to no avail. Here is my info: Nothing shown in the LMS Server log: [20-08-17 13:22:38.4304] main::init (388) Starting Logitech Media Server (v8.0.0, 1597639997, Mon Aug 17 07:24:41 CEST 2020) perl 5.020003 - arm-linux-gnueabi-thread-multi-64int Logitech Media Server Version: 8.0.0 - 1597639997 @ Mon Aug 17 07:24:41 CEST 2020 Hostname: Annapolis Server IP Address: 192.168.0.10 Server HTTP Port Number: 9001 Operating system: QLMS 2.X (QNAP TurboStation) [Debian 9 stretch] - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: armv5tel-linux Perl Version: 5.20.3 - arm-linux-gnueabi-thread-multi-64int Audio::Scan: 0.95 IO::Socket::SSL: 2.060 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1) Total Players Recognized: 2 My use case is pretty basic...I really just want to stream Spotify content on my players, I really like the Don't Stop the Music plugin. I disabled the Spotify Connect since I don't really need that and I also disabled the Online Music Library Integration hoping to simplify but the problem prevails. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
