Beta 0.0.31e - 2022/01/02 - Start adding Bayerischen Rundfunk (DE) - Bayern1 and BR-Klassik - title, artist, duration and coversearch (not Klassik) plus programme title, subtitle, duration and cover Had a request by email for BR-Klassik. I managed to get it working and then had a look at the other stations in the group ( https://br.de ) and they use a different setup for their metadata ... so just done a quick implementation for Bayern1 as a test. For BR Klassik ... there is no track artwork because they do not provide any and doing lookups on classical material with the data provided is too inaccurate. I could provide the programme image as the track artwork ... let me know (here) if you would prefer that for this station only (and don't ask for it to be configurable). I have just tried "Gold". It is playing without a hitch - however, the song details are not parsed. So rather than distinct artist and title, I am seeing title of title by artist artist of ... the show name and the duration of the show rather than the track. e.g. Artist: Destination Midnight 10pm - 12am Duration: 120:00 Title: Girl Of My Best Friend by Elvis Presley It is completely readable and understandable but it means that things like MAI will not work. When you play them with LMS do you get track/programme info? Do they have track/programme info on the web sites or in their mobile app? If the break is at 120 seconds (plus a tiny bit) then maybe the Windows TcpTimedWaitDelay is kicking in because of something that it thinks did not get acknowledged 2 minutes earlier. There is a registry key available to adjust from the default of 120 seconds https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/biztalk/technical-guides/settings-that-can-be-modified-to-improve-network-performance Changing that number (and rebooting) and then seeing if there is a direct correlation with the time when the problem happens would at least help focus things. Note - the key is not present by default. Beta 0.0.30k - 2022/12/16 - Add Regenbogen.de (27 stations) and and Regenbogen2.de (12 stations) - artist, title and their cover art - plus programme name, synopsis and image for "live" stations - Bugfix - verify that what is playing isRemote before looking for redirection URL Regenbogen and Regenbogen 2 are the other stations in the Audiotainment group. There were some issues in getting these in because they have stations with the same names across more than one station in the group and they are using what looks initially to be the same URL for them but they play different content. In reality the URLs do differ but it made my matching stuff too complex so I have gone for a simplified solution that relies on the "redir" stuff working properly (which it does). It makes the plugin work a bit harder when trying to match things but the effect is not noticable. The station data is often a minute or so ahead of what you hear so I have tried to minimise that effect by not using their timestamps (except for the live stations ... since I need them there so that I can timeout a track and replace it with programme details when news etc is on). Their song artwork is quite high-res when compared to other stations so these look pretty good on a large screen. Beta 0.0.30j - 2022/12/12 - Add RPR1.de - artist, title and their cover art - 47 stations This is another group of stations from audiotainment (mentioned in previous post). They also have timestamps that are off by about 1 minute ... so this time I have disabled checking of the timestamp for all of the "jukebox" stations. I do still check it for the "live" stations (the ones with the name of a city in their station name) because otherwise it would result in the track details for the previous song being shown through a lengthy news item ... but it also means that as long as their timing is wrong then the display of the track will also be wrong. Currently this means that the info is removed about 1 minute before the end of the track. If you are a regular listener to their stations and you find this annoying then watch what happens from their own web site and then ask them to fix it if you see and hear the same issue there. This appears to be a local networking problem not directly related to the particular plugin. If pCP cannot resolve host names then not much will work outside of your LAN. To remove remove the extra plugin repository from the bottom of the plugin list - then remove and reinstall the plugin and you should be back to the last release. I was getting the same problem yesterday but I also had significant issues all weekend with my broadband connection. Downwards direction was generally good but upwards was terrible. Today broadband was fixed and BBC Sounds plugin working without issues - including browsing menus. Use an IP address not hostname for the link to LMS ... however, the player should autodiscover LMS and the field is not needed. If you have a complicated LAN set-up then that discovery might not work ... in which case you need it ... but to a fixed IP address not a hostname. While this tells you what you need to know - it is not really how things are supposed to work. So with the plugin you should see artist, title, album name and coverart (via coversearch) and sometimes will see the programme name. FYI regarding the checksum - if you are working on Windows then there is (was?) a Microsoft tool called fciv (File Checksum Integrity Verifier - downloadable from their site) fciv -sha1 filename Also - I sometimes use a Windows Explorer plugin from Z-Zip Right click on a file in Windows Explorer and you get a menu item "CRC SHA" choose SHA 1 - double click on the result and you can ^c copy it. Also - make sure that your checksum is all lowercase. The new XML file looks OK to me. One thing to note ... if you put in a section then LMS will list the contents when offering to upgrade - which can be a good way to highlight things to users who are about to upgrade. LMS is designed for use within a local LAN - not for remote access. However, if you can get safe remote access to your LAN then it can work. The "classic" way to achieve this was to run a VPN server on your home network and then access that. However, a potentially easier thing to do is to use TailScale. I've seen it as well. When it happens to me ... it seems to work if I switch to a different station and then switch back. The IP address is where the bridge is running and the MAC address is a fake one assigned by the bridge but it is based on the real MAC address of the remote player that the bridge is trying to send music to.
