Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Hi, @mherger. You might remember that I had problems with autoscrolling the contents when the on-screen keyboard was popping out after tapping on an edit-box (Android, Chrome, limited screen size). The screen was scrolling, but missed a point and the edit box which was focused, wasn't visible. I remember that you introduced some manual correction for this and it worked for that time. Then it stopped again. I think that now the manual correction might be unnecessary. It's possible that Chrome fixed the scroll-to-view mechanism in the meantime. Why do I think so? As far, as I remember, before adding the manual correction, chrome "underscrolled" (the focused editbox was positioned too low and was obscured by the keyboard). Now I notice an "overscrolling" (the edit box is positioned too high and goes out of screen). If this is the manual correction what makes the Chrome "overscroll", maybe it can be removed now? glorifyday's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68868 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
Is there any easy way to downgrade the plugin to its previous version? I am using the 'material skin' and the 'music and artist information' plugins. As I stated some day on this forum, I am mostly using Logitech-bundled Tidal app for LMS. The combo of these plugins gave me a very useful way of browsing Tidal. On a now-playing screen I would choose the "i" icon, then click on "(...)" (or something like that) and then I had the track info with clickable categories. Then I could click on the artist, for instance, and Tidal app would list the artist's albums. Then I could play them, add to queue, etc. This was a very nice browsing functionality. The more useful because the Tidal app is not particularly user friendly in terms of music searching and browsing. I updated both plugins to newest versions and some functionality is gone. Starting from now-playing screen I can still tap-browse to all artist's records, but then the context menu for each listed item was dramatically cut. I can "add to favourites" and do one more thing, I cannot remember what... anyway nothing I need. glorifyday's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68868 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99537 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
HI, I think I got it working... partially ;-). When I tap the searchbox, it gets obscured by the popping keyboard. But when I hide the keyboard and tap the box again, now the box is scrolled. I suspect that the workaround works, but the delay is too small for the first keyboard popping. The second time it pops, it does it faster. That's just a guess, because on the first sight you wouldn't tell the difference. Anyway, I think that the delay is not a universal solution as different devices might have pretty different speed, depending not only on a device model/type but also on its current setup and workload. I am not good at JavaScript, but maybe there is something like window resize event sent? The position of a focused text box would be then adjusted after window resize? glorifyday's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68868 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'll give you a few screenshots when I'm back home. It's true that they don't have many items below them, so this might be the reason. If I tap on the search box on a main screen, the page is scrolled so as the search box remains visible while the on-screen keyboard is popped out (good). However, not all search boxes behave this way. The examples are search boxes in ickStream and Tidal plugins (maybe in all apps, actually, but I'm not using many). Hi everybody. I am a satisfied user of the material skin for LMS. Great job, and thanks for the optional STOP button - it works great! I would like to ask about a behaviour that I observed on Chrome and Edge for Android. When I create a desktop shortcut for the LMS/material, the site is displayed fullscreen (good), but always in portrait mode with autorotation disabled (not so good), regardless if the autorotation is enabled in the system. Is it a feature of Chrome and Edge for Android only? Safari for iOS does not show this behaviour. The site run from desktop shortcut displays fullscreen in current orientation and normally autorotates. As a workaround, I tried other Android web browsers, but their desktop shortcuts don't run fullscreen, so a lot of screen space is wasted. glorifyday's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68868 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
