Is it possible to add the music folder browsing to the Material Skin?
On the default LMS theme it is available under My Music/Music Folder.

Thanks. That was the reason.
I have once increased a security on my router, then forgot about it. It
cut off many ports.

No success.

This might be related... my son noticed that he can't use Discord
messenger when his phone is connected to our home network, but the
problem is not occurring when he connects using cellular data. This
might suggest that my network provider started blocking some network
traffic without notification. Maybe ports?

What ports are used by Spotty?

This is a message from a few days ago when I experimented with indexing
over 7 music files. As the LMS wasn't too responsive, I gave up with

Tidal, bandcamp, youtube and other plugins work. Somehow I still have
problem with Spotty, howewer the problem started before I experimented
with the large library and persists after I ended the experiment.

I was using Spotty for a long time with success. I had to disconnect my
system for about a week for a room renovation. When I connected
everything again, Spotty stopped working, showing something like 'could
not get client token' on the main LMS page. Then I tried deleting the
account and importing it again, but I get errors like this.
I tried upgrading the Spotty and LMS, but the problem persists.
On my Spotify account, I found out that I had old authorisation for LMS.
I deleted it, but no change.

Hi, @mherger.

You might remember that I had problems with autoscrolling the contents
when the on-screen keyboard was popping out after tapping on an edit-box
(Android, Chrome, limited screen size). The screen was scrolling, but
missed a point and the edit box which was focused, wasn't visible. I
remember that you introduced some manual correction for this and it
worked for that time. Then it stopped again. I think that now the manual
correction might be unnecessary. It's possible that Chrome fixed the
scroll-to-view mechanism in the meantime.

Why do I think so?
As far, as I remember, before adding the manual correction, chrome
"underscrolled" (the focused editbox was positioned too low and was
obscured by the keyboard).
Now I notice an "overscrolling" (the edit box is positioned too high and
goes out of screen).

If this is the manual correction what makes the Chrome "overscroll",
maybe it can be removed now?

No, no playback, the queue contains one entry, the same url.

To reproduce: start the tidal app, search for an artist, tap on an
artist, choose albums, from the album context menu choose play now. Play
next and add to queue don't work, either.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin

2019-03-05 Thread glorifyday

Is there any easy way to downgrade the plugin to its previous version?

I am using the 'material skin' and the 'music and artist information'
plugins. As I stated some day on this forum, I am mostly using
Logitech-bundled Tidal app for LMS.

The combo of these plugins gave me a very useful way of browsing Tidal.
On a now-playing screen I would choose the "i" icon, then click on
"(...)" (or something like that) and then I had the track info with
clickable categories. Then I could click on the artist, for instance,
and Tidal app would list the artist's albums. Then I could play them,
add to queue, etc. This was a very nice browsing functionality. The more
useful because the Tidal app is not particularly user friendly in terms
of music searching and browsing.

I updated both plugins to newest versions and some functionality is
gone. Starting from now-playing screen I can still tap-browse to all
artist's records, but then the context menu for each listed item was
dramatically cut. I can "add to favourites" and do one more thing, I
cannot remember what... anyway nothing I need.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin

HI, I think I got it working... partially ;-).
When I tap the searchbox, it gets obscured by the popping keyboard.
But when I hide the keyboard and tap the box again, now the box is
scrolled.

I suspect that the workaround works, but the delay is too small for the
first keyboard popping. The second time it pops, it does it faster.
That's just a guess, because on the first sight you wouldn't tell the
difference.

Anyway, I think that the delay is not a universal solution as different
devices might have pretty different speed, depending not only on a
device model/type but also on its current setup and workload. I am not
good at JavaScript, but maybe there is something like window resize
event sent? The position of a focused text box would be then adjusted
after window resize?

don't have many items below them, so this might be the reason.
Anyway these boxes need scrolling more than the boxes at the top of the

out.

Hi, I wanted to ask about the search box behaviour while tapped.

If I tap on the search box on a main screen, the page is scrolled so as
the search box remains visible while the on-screen keyboard is popped
out (good).

However, not all search boxes behave this way. The examples are search
boxes in ickStream and Tidal plugins (maybe in all apps, actually, but
I'm not using many). Is there any possibility to extend the scrolling
behaviour to all text boxes displayed anywhere, while they get focus?

is scrolled up so that the search box remains visible after the screen

However, this does not apply to search boxes in apps, for instance in

Working perfectly!

I needed to re-create the desktop shortcut to get it working... is it
cached somehow by chrome?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin

2019-01-18 Thread glorifyday

Hi everybody. I am a satisfied user of the material skin for LMS. Great
job, and thanks for the optional STOP button - it works great!

I would like to ask about a behaviour that I observed on Chrome and Edge
for Android.

When I create a desktop shortcut for the LMS/material, the site is
displayed fullscreen (good), but always in portrait mode with
autorotation disabled (not so good), regardless if the autorotation is
enabled in the system.

Is it a feature of Chrome and Edge for Android only?

Safari for iOS does not show this behaviour. The site run from desktop
shortcut displays fullscreen in current orientation and normally
autorotates.

As a workaround, I tried other Android web browsers, but their desktop
shortcuts don't run fullscreen, so a lot of screen space is wasted.
