Yes, I'm syncing players with the group plugin. Code: "format_id":7 shows up with group players, as well as with individual players. Well, I *thought* I could play hi res files on my players, with the SBs having external dacs connected via coax. I now see that the files are downsampled for the SBs. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
I've tried searching this big thread and elsewhere, but I can't find an answer for my problem. I have a studio subscription to Qobuz and the plugin works for playing 16-bit, 44.1kHz Flac music. I however can't get hi-res files to stream to my players. I have 24-bit, 192k local files that will play fine to all my players (pCPs, SB classics, SB2), but Qobuz hi res songs always display as ~750-850kbps, 44.1k. Qobuz settings (plugin v2.6.1) are set to FLAC hi-res. What other settings should I check/change? Thank you, tw99! Toggling some checkboxes in the filetypes settings page solved this! I unchecked "Prefer native format (decoding on the player) whenever possible" and disabled Ogg in the Spotty file types to get the smoothest sync at the start of songs. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty 4.7.0
I didn't see another 4.7 thread, so I'm asking here. I use a mixture of hardware SBs and some linux squeezelite players in my home setup, all synced with the Group plugin in one group. Every player is hardwired in my home network. Most of my listening is through Spotty. All Connect features are off in LMS. When using Spotty, playback will always start with one of my linux (piCorePlayer) players first, and the hardware SBs catch up after about a second into the song. This doesn't happen with local music. I played with some of the sync settings for the piCorePlayer, but that didn't address the early start and made the sync worse overall. Any idea where I can look to sort this out? maddymarc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8233 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115592 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

When spotty or Spotify connect transitions from one song to another, the first second or so is missing. And theres a little timing hiccup in the playback. So a new song doesnt output through my players until a second or so late. Is there a setting I can toggle to buffer more time at the beginning of songs? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Thank you for continuing to contribute! Your post made me check everything in the players screen again. I figured it out. Well, I got it to stop. My iPhone has iPeng playback enabled and I occasionally use it. Even though its not part of the sync group, it was causing the volume drop. I muted the iPhone in the list, and the problem went away. I also cleared the cached playlist for the iPhone, and the problem hasnt returned. +---+ |Filename: A6B1A4DF-5271-4954-B993-B90C6539CD6C.jpeg| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31751| +---+ maddymarc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8233 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Every time I open iPeng on my iPhone SE (2020), it lowers the volume of my grouped players. However, it doesnt do this when I open the app with my iPad Air (2019, IOS 14.0.1). I love iPengs functionality for controlling my players throughout the house, but this volume quirk is very frustrating, because I need volume control for the different amplification setups at each player. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.3.0 - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I love having Spotty for my LMS setup and use it daily. One thing that I have never been able to get right is the song display when multiple players are synced and using Connect. The audio works fine. Occasionally a song will repeat, or the playlist will not continue, but that's few and far between. No matter if one or multiple players are Connect enabled, when they are synced (which is all the time for me) only the first song title played will display, even though the Connect playlist continues and the songs change.
