Looking at this again - I see that "Foobar2000 Renderer" is listed as a
player on the Upnp Bridge Plugin page, and it's in the upnpbridge.xml.
However it does not show as a player in the default "Player" pager under
LMS, and does not show as a player in the drop-down menu where it can be
synchronized with other players.

This used to work for me..I'm not sure what's going on now, but I'd love
to be able to get it working again. Any help will be greatly
appreciated!

LMS is running on a QNAP NAS
Foobar2k is running on a Win10 machine, with the Firewall disabled.

Foobar2k Renderer also shows in J. River running on the same PC.
Interestingly though, when I run Upnp analyzer on the same PC, Foobar2k
does not show up...

Hmm..Windows Upnp Analyzer is not finding it. However, J. River does.
Very Strange...

No, LMS is running on a QNAP NAS and Foobar2000 on a Win10 desktop.

Yeah, I don't know why it's not working for me. I have tried restarting
the bridge a few times and creating a new config file. The Sonos and
Yamaha Receivers are found every time, but not my desktop PC running
Foobar2000. The same PC also has J. River installed and is also
configured as a DLNA renderer, but it's no longer found either. These
both used to show up. I don't remember if I did anything special in the
past to make them show up. I've done some tinkering since then. Can I
manually add them to Upnp/DLNA bridge?

Hi, I have used this plugin in the past and my Win10 PC running
Foobar2000 would show as a Squeezebox player under LMS.

However, now it is no longer showing and I'm not sure why? It shows as a
Upnp player under J. River, but not LMS.

LMS does show other Upnp players though (Sonos and Yamaha receivers).
Not sure why Foobar2000 is no longer showing under LMS, but I'd love to
get it back. It's kinda driving me crazy...

Yeah, I played with Whitebear and J. River a few years back as well and
decided to re-visit recently hoping they made some progress...

I really like how foobar2000 shows as a player in LMS and the audio sync
between foobar on the pc and the duets/sonos is pretty good (much better
than J. River)

It works when I initiate playback through the LMS web interface or
Orange Squeeze/Squeeze Ctrl from phone/tablet. I wonder if there's a way
to make it work by initiating playback from foobar?

Because apparently there's a J. River-like skin for foobar2000 -

Yeah, I have been using Material Skin. But Like I said, I really like
seeing album covers over internet artist images...

That's really too bad about J. River. I've been doing some reading, and
apparently it can now sync when using the same OS. Which means for me, I
would have to buy a couple of NUCs, and install Win10 and J. River and
connect them to my two AV receivers...

I did discover something cool while playing with J River that I am now
using with my LMS setup - With the DLNA plugin installed in LMS, and
Foobar2000 open on my Win PC, Foobar shows as a player in LMS, so the
audio being played on my PC can sync with the Duets/Sonos connected to
my receivers. It syncs up pretty good too. Anyone else doing this? I'm
just learning but really digging it. I just wish I could use the J River
interface, but Material skin works too...

I am looking for a way to make it look as much like J. River as
possible. I like to see the album covers opposed to some artist image
from the internet. For artists that I have more than one album from,
just use any of their album covers.

I would actually just switch to J. River, but I can't get the instance
running on my Windows machine to sync up with my Squeezebox Duets,
Sonos, or networked Yamaha receivers. Even though the zones are linked,
they are out of sync.

Attaching a pic of J. River's artist view. Anyway to make LMS look
similar?

Greetings - I was wondering if there is any way to display a random
album cover for an artist image if no match can be found on-line. Or
better yet, the option to switch between a random album cover by a
particular artist, rather than the image that was found on line?
