Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
it's a bit of a silly question, I am just curious... if u look at the attached, the rate seems to have changed. I seem to recall I did either see 320k or sometimes a FLAC rate there... now it's CBR at 16/44 rate. Is that a change in LMS 8.2.0 or something new in the latest Spotty? I updated both pretty much at the same time, so just curious. It's not a problem at all since bandwidth isn't an issue in my environment at all. :-) 35482 +---+ |Filename: lms spotty.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35482| +---+ ...pablo Server: Win10 and LMS 8.2.0 System: SB Touch --optical->- Benchmark DAC2HGC --AnalysisPlus Oval Copper XLR->- NAD M22 Power Amp --AnalysisPlus Black Mesh Oval->- KEF Reference 1 Other Rooms: 2x SB Boom; 1x SB Radio; 1x SB Classic-> NAD D7050 -> Totem DreamCatcher + Velodyne Minivee Sub Computer audio: workstation --USB->- audioengine D1 -> Grado RS1/Shure 1540 pablolie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111923 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

This is by now means a bug report, just wanted to point out a UI peculiarity that probably has its source in the Spotify API. If you use Spotify as a UI, and pick your Squeezeboxen from the "Device Available" tab, the LMS UI (provided you switch to it) will only Display the *first* song of the playlist in the "playlist queue white box" (see attached), but the correct current song in the "now playing gray box". Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] How to improve synchronization?
... that finds SoftSqueeze unsuitable for synchornized playing in environments where one can hear the music from both the Squeezebox and the Softsqueeze application? I am not sure what's happened - it used to work ok, but after the latest upgrades (and nothing else has changed) the asynchronous nature of the music reproduction is too much to bear. I've tried all I know - raising application priorities, but the synched playing just has too many glitches. It used to work much better.
