Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Have to say that having used iPeng for iPod for a few days now I find the touch to play method a bit counter-intuitive ( very annoying!). Several times while building listening to a playlist by scrolling albums, a flick to scroll has been interpreted as a double-tap. Resulting in the track that was accidentally selected playing immediately at the expense of wiping the playlist. I know you have the party mode to partly mitigate for this but I'd have thought it would have made more sense (at least to me) for a single touch of a track to bring up the context menu with touch+hold playing immediately. Or at least the single touch asking for confirmation if the playlist is currently populated. -- rbz5416 rbz5416's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12089 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

By switching to SN before suspending the server, the time is maintained without connecting to SC. So the server should remain suspended until another WOL packet arrives, such as attempting to connect to SC's web interface. -- rbz5416 rbz5416's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12089 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
I hibernate my HP laptop. When coming out of hibernation it doesn't seem to attempt to verify a mapped network drive is available. So it only wakes the server if I access the share. The laptop also has a Broadcom chipset so I don't know if that help compatability. -- rbz5416 rbz5416's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12089 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The WOL trigger event is me connecting to the SC web interface from my laptop. I'll have a play with the delay time report back. -- rbz5416 rbz5416's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12089 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
Firstly, thanks for this. I've installed on an XP Pro (SP3) PC running release 7.3.3 but am unclear on the expected behaviour when resuming. I have configured Suspend to SN after 10 minutes of idleness. All attached SB devices to switch to SN all to be restored on WOL. Everything works as expected except restoring to SC on WOL. The early part of the thread seemed to suggest that this had to be done manually I'm not entirely sure if my expectations are correct for the current version to do this automatically. -- rbz5416 rbz5416's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12089 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
