I would like to use Spotty but it get this error: "Spotty requires the Perl module IO::Socket::SSL. You can NOT use Spotty without this module. Please use your operating system's package manager to install it." So does this mean that my trusty old ReadyNAS Pro running their OS 6 firmware is doomed for Spotty? I am lostany help - anybody? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Song Info Song Lyrics plugins - Status? Dead?
I'm using LMS 7.8.1 controlled via iPeng and never seem to get lyrics anymore... I added Erlands repository to the plugins listing and they no longer appear. Song Info Song Lyrics = retired, sick or deceased? Anything else out there to supply lyrics as LMS plays - my bride misses the sing alongs! I tracked it down and this was the bad data song name:
(You Need Meat) Don't Go No Further (Bonus Track)
I changed the title to:
You Need Meat - Don't Go No Further (Bonus Track)
Cleared the log and rescanned - that song passed but I got another error
on another song title that started with a parenthesized phrase. I
changed that one in the same fashion then cleared and rescanned. The

That's got to be the problem!
Before I debug 45,000 song titles - I'll wait to hear something from you
concerning a possible fix.

Using local files only. I noticed that artists were being repeated alot. Looks like I'm just getting the As through some Fs as selectable artists. Turned on debug for Smart Mix - cleared all caches - rescaned. Stopped at the same point. There's a Smart Mix ?error? in the attached server.log and I've attached the debug scanner log. Seems similar to post #1148 as The Doors causes an error in the scan? Your server.log file is reporting LMS 7._5_.4 and a MySQL error?!? That's not at all what you're reporting in your footer.
