[SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer Listen Again not working
Hi - I am using BBC iPlayer which works, although I tend now to use the PlayHLS as it seems to stop/rebuffer less. However the Listen Again doesn't work at all. E.g. I go to Radio->BBC iPlayer->BBC Radio 4 FM -> Today and select a program. The program picture and description comes up, but it doesn't play. The timer stays at 0:00. It has been doing this for a long time. Win 10 64bit LMS 7.7.5 2 x wired SB3s and SqueezeLite sync'd. I have tried turning off SqueezeLite which makes no difference. I am not sure exactly when as I rarely use it, but if I had to hazard a guess I'd say Liten Again stopped when I installed PLayHLS. Currently I'm using BBC iPlayer v1.3.1alpha3, BBC iPlayer Extras v1.8, and PlayHLS v1.1. I don't know when these were last installed, but iPlayer probably when my PC was rebuilt in April 2015. As iPlayer had endless re-buffering problems I installed PlayHLS several months ago. PlayHLS is better, but still not perfect. Thanks very much bpa - the Listen Again now works. Great stuff! My network is all wired and pretty good, with fibreoptic internet. Processor is very under utilitsed - I have a CPU usage window open permanently and the CPU is barely used 99% of the time... So not sure about the sync, but it isn't a huge deal. It has rarely been good with Squeezelite (get little cracks and pops on the SB3s unless i turn off SqueezeLite which is a bit annoying, even with FLACs). [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer Listen Again not working
Hello A few days ago the listen again feature in my iPlayer stopped working. I can get to the 'program' list for a particular day but it then reverts to 'playing now' Listen Live works well I have tried resetting everything and dis-enabling various streams. Any ideas what has gone wrong and what I need to do? Are you uising the BBCiPlayer Applet on a a touch / Radio ? If so then it looks like BBC has changed something and broken the applet. Just tried with my Squeezebox Radio at a different location and I can play without a problem using the Applet. Mind, the program list is all to cock as described in Castella's thread. Well I have the Applet installed on the SB Radio and navigated to the program shown via the controls on the Radio. I used the web GUI to copy and paste the stream URLs which appear to be the same as the URL one can access via the '+' button on the Radio and going to more info. I can not locate the menu you describe on the Radio and I will not have access to a Touch until Saturday. So I guess that I can not help any further. The URLs used by the applet will begin spdr://. The URLs originating from the plugin will begin iplayer://. Playing an URL on the touch beginning weoith iplayer invokes rthe BBC iPlayer plugin. The menu I refer to on the Radio is under the BBC Radio menu which starts with Listen Live. Go to the bottom of this menu and you'll see BBC York, Special Event, Stream and Live Display.
