I tried again with the latest 7.9 nightly, and PlayHLS installed without any problem. So I am going to go with option (1) above. Thank you for taking the time to look at this. There is no code in the Plugin, it just sets up conf files. so it is not sensitive to LMS version. So if you have an installation problem - please describe symptom, system OS, LMS version etc so that the problem can be identified and removed/resolved. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103239 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I listen to live BBC radio streams using another link so I guess the best ting to do is to wait until the mess has been resolved. Thanks for the info everyone. I'm running Squeezeplug on a Raspberry Pi B (Debian 7.8). I don't have the LMS version, but it was the 7.9 nightly available on 2/26. Symptom: The repository installed correctly. Clicked the checkbox to install PlayHLS and restarted LMS. After that, the plugin page still showed the checkbox to install the plugin. Tried a couple of more times with the same result. I then went back to LMS 7.8 and PlayHLS installed without any problem. I had this working properly on a version of 7.9 from about 10 days ago. But I needed to reinstall LMS and the newer 7.9 nightly behaved as I describe. What do you mean - the check box was ticked or unticked ? - The checkbox was unticked. Was the PlayHLS shown as Active but enabled box not ticked ? - I don't remember exactly. At the very top of the plugin page there was a line asking to install (I think) PlayHLS and the checkbox was unticked. This persisted over a couple of cycles of checking the box and restarting LMS. At which point I installed LMS 7.8 and everything was OK. Was LMS 7.9 started with --norestart command line option ? - No. How did you restart LMS - via a dialogue box or thro /etc/init.d - ssh into the Raspberry pi and service logitechmediaserver stop then service logitechmediaserver start AngloCuencano's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64040 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103239 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Works fine on 7.9/r1410360441 on my Mac. Also to AndyBeevers I would say that currently the only problem with iPlayer is the live streams. It works as it sued to on Listen Again, but this may not be true for much longer. danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103239 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
