IIRC the BBCiPlayer plugin Listen Again needs to have a correct time and date set but timezone doesn't matter since all will be converted to UTC. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106819 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

thanks. I need to experiment a bit more, I have been fiddling with the server clock and there definitely seems to be a link with the iplayer listen again problem. On some settings of the clock iplayer listen again would work sporadically with some progammes/ players. I have set the clock to Etc/GMT and it seems to be working OK right now, will keep testing. moletteuk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50177 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106819 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Since 1.3.x BBC have retired many of the formats and plugin has carried over your old 1.3.* settings, you should change the BBCiPlayer plugin preferences to reflect what is available today. I suggest for both DASH > HLS > MP3 > FlashAAC If problems continue, you may have some carry over issues from old installation. I suggest stop LMS and delete cache When testing only play from the BBCiPlayer menu - if you have favorites setup to play BBC stuff etc - they must be updated to reflect changes in 1.5.*. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106819 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Iplayer problem on Nas4free
thank you I am using 2 touches, one boom and one SB radio. All have the same problem. I downloaded the .pls file you attached, put it with my music files on the server, and it plays no problem. Other radio channels play fine via the 'radio' menu too. Iplayer Settings see photos attached Iplayer Extra Setting 'No Dash' box is now unchecked Yesterday I thought IPlayerExtras was not working with the 'no dash' box unchecked, but today it doesn't seem to make a difference, so I have put it back to the default setting of unchecked. This has not affected what works on Iplayer. Iplayer live stream works fine Iplayer listen again does not work, it says can't find file. +---+ |Filename: sb1.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=21917| +---+ moletteuk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50177 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106819 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

It sounds like by changing the plugin default settings you have created an incompatible configuration (I.e.forcing Extra to play Flash which is no longer available on BBCiPlayer Live or Listen Again ) . AFAIK Nothing happened yesterday that should have stopped yourBBC iplayer 1.3 from working - so I'm guessing something else (i.e. non BBC or BBCiplayer plugin) happened on your system and by installing new version and hten chaging settings - you have added more problems. You need to provide more details on your . 1. What sort of player are you using ? 2. Can you play AAC streams without problems (e.g. http://www.somafm.com/illstreet32.pls ) 3. What are the current settings of BBCiPlayer and BBCiPlayerExtra bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106819 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Iplayer problem on Nas4free
I'm running LMS 7.7.3 on Nas4free (freebsd) on an old server with only 1gb ram. Everything has been running fine since the last BBC debacle, I've been running 1.3.? and not sure which iplayer extras but from the same time. Since yesterday I can't get iplayer plugin to work, but iplayer extras working fine. I logged into the forum and saw the new releases, so I updated to iplayer 1.5.2 and extras 1.9.5 Now I can only get Extras to work if I check the disable dash box. I've left the iplayer setting as default and the live stream works but listen again does not work. It says this in the LMS log file [17-01-17 20:47:33.0517] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1304) Warning: [20:47:33.0512] Async::HTTP: Unable to load IO::Socket::SSL, will try connecting to SSL servers in non-SSL mode [17-01-17 21:00:42.8877] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (147) Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Networking::Async::HTTP::_http_read_body: illegal file descriptor or filehandle (either no attached file descriptor or illegal value): at /usr/local/logitechmediaserver-7.7.3-1368712216-FreeBSD/Slim/Networking/IO/Select.pm line 150. ; fh=Slim::Networking::Async::Socket::HTTP=GLOB(0x80eb93d20) I'm not very technically minded and have a mortal fear of messing with the Nas4free setup. I will confess I happened to reset the clock on the Nas4free yesterday, not sure if that could possibly mess things up. I'd be very grateful if anybody could help. moletteuk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50177 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106819 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
