Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] My Apps - No spotify
I did check Show in my apps. When unchecked, the Spotify plugin doesn't appear under the Radio menu either. sciurius's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13819 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=100301 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] My Apps - No spotify
LMS 7.8.0 built from git. Works okay. Except... I install Triode's Spotify plugin. I restart LMS. The plugin appears on the home page, under My Apps. A short while later, after another restart, Spotify does no longer appear under My Apps. The plugin is configured and passes the self test. I can control it via a remote, e.g. the Squeeze app on Android. Everything works except that it just doesn't show under My Apps. Any idea what could be going on? sciurius's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13819 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=100301 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I've now installed LMS on my laptop on Windows XP as a test and it works fine, so the problem looks to be with Vortexbox, but I've done a fresh install and updated LMS to 7.2.2. chn68b's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21902 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94381 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

It looks like logitech support are pushing their line of questioning towards the we don't support it response. [SlimDevices: Plugins] My Apps
What on earth am I doing wrong here? I've had the squeezebox for a few years now and never had this issue before. I had assumed that the problem was vortexbox but I've since installed a new version and the problem remains. If I use the Squeezebox radio and connect to mysqueezebox rather than my Vortexbox I can access myapps no problem, however, when I connect to my home library (the vortexbox server) myapps is now empty. I've added the username and password, confirmed it but its just not playing ball and been like this for a few weeks now. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] My Apps
The likeliest cause is some DNS issue within LMS, can sometimes be startup order, LMS is running before there is any network and never ever recovers. Some DNS issue with the vortexbox itself . Wrong password . You get no apps because LMS can't access mysqueezebox.com . What is server log saying ? If you open a shell on your VB via ssh and ping like this ? ping -c5 www.mysqueezebox.com (if this works DNS is resolving on the vortexbox itself) and ping -c5 176.34.103.98 (if you want to ping directly without dns) -- Mnyb Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub. I can't be quite sure, but I think this problem may have occurred since I purchased a new router. Would I need to configure the firewall settings to allow this to work? I don't believe I had to with the old router.
