Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ResetVolume and 7.6.1

2021-05-24 Thread Polter

Hi all,

although I'm a complete newby to Raspberry Pi and Linux, I just managed
to get a new installation of LMS 8.2 running on a Rpi 4B with Raspbian,
which fetches the FLAC-files form my Synology NAS. I started looking for
the ResetVolume plugin in the 3rd party plugin list, but couldn't find
it. After some searching I arrived at this place, where I found the
GitHub download of ResetVolume.

I downloaded the zip file and unzipped it to my laptop, but haven't got
the foggiest on how I should proceed next - like where to put which
files on the Rpi.

Is there anyone out there that could guide me through the process of
installing the plugin step-by-step?

Thank you very much,

Gijs

Is the ResetVolume plugin still available?

I get a 404 from http://www.koldware.net/SlimStuff/repodata.xml

Unfortunately that repository has disappeared a while ago.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ResetVolume and 7.6.1

2011-12-18 Thread Nando1970

I've updated to LMS 7.7.1 and had the same problem. It turned out I had
to manually add its repository

http://www.koldware.net/SlimStuff/repodata.xml

as additional repository in the Plugin tab of the web interface, then
select ResetVolume, then restart.

Too bad it's not in the recommended list, as my wife cannot tolerate my
bedtable Boom without it.

It might be worth to vote for it here:

[SlimDevices: Plugins] ResetVolume and 7.6.1

2011-08-12 Thread vrette

ResetVolume appears to be missing from the list of plugins since I
upgraded to 7.6.1 from 7.5.x. Is ResetVolume not compatible with 7.6,
or is my install of 7.6 messed up? Thanks.
