Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.5.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I consider moving LMS, spotty and maybe smb/HDD to a separate RPi. What is an advisable (minimum) configuration? I have a RPi 1 and a Zero floating around I could put to use. Or I get a 3+ right away to spare myself the hassle. Pi 1 or Zero won't do it. A Pi2 is the minimum imho. And piCorePlayer. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

why picoreplayer? I wouldn't use the box to play music, just serve it. i have pCP on a zeroW for my kitchen player and am quite happy with it. but no LMS on that box. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.5.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
why picoreplayer? I wouldn't use the box to play music, just serve it. pCP is the simplest and quickest way to get not only a player up and running, but a server, too. I do this myself at the office, where pCP is a pure server installation, serving a Transporter. I know, the name is misleading. I already had suggested to do a piCoreServer version, too :-)... -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: LMS Controls - Google Home / Google Assistant Voice Control of LMS Players
I'm a little bit confused regarding the spotify account The documentation on github mentions this: > If this is music query function: > Performs required queries against either LMS DB or Spotify using shell > scripts This suggests that I only need a Spotify account if I want to search for music on Spotify, the query processing is done by DF... But in the prerequisites in the first post here you write: > The prerequisites for this are: > ... > Spotify account with Client_ID and Client_Secret to allow query > processing That would suggest that the query is somehow done by Spotify... Can I use this without a Spotify account as all the music I have/need is on my own LMS... Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce - Song info plugin for FIP radio
Will be available very soon 0.1.14 16-Oct-2018 Show (optionally) the duration of the song (thanks to philippe_44 for the key two lines of code). If you enable/disable this then wait for one track before it takes effect Add configurable stream delay parameter - default is 2 seconds. Indicates how far behind real time the stream is - making this accurate can help with timely changes of song info, especially visible if track duration is shown Paul Webster http://dabdig.blogspot.com Author Radio France (FIP etc) plugin Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106900 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Pleased to report bridge working pretty well with a Linn Sneaky and Linn Akurate DS. Guess this has progressed somewhat since earlier discussion on this thread. For the benefit of all, my settings are as follows: Http mode 'no length' Codecs flc,pcm,mp3 Transcode none FLAC header normal Just one niggle - power on/off in squeezecenter isn't relayed to the players. Is this fixable? jjmixman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68567 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103728 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Glad to hear its working for you. Doesn't seem to much interest in it lately. Getting rid of the test prompt is a bit painful. Check this thread, I did it, it works but takes a bit of doing. Essentially (if memory serves), the developer account always get the test message (unless its been changed recently). First you need to publish your app to alpha, create a reviewer account and issue the request using the reviewer account and you should be good.
