Cisco owns the trademark to 'iPhone'. Apple had been in negotiations

Now the lawyers will duke it out. I'd bet that, based on the initial

No I wouldn't send it back, and I probably wouldn't use it either as my
current phone does pretty much everything that it can do.

What has confused me some what is stupid comments such as revolutionise
the industry. How is it going to revolutionise the industry when its
already been done? As it stands it doesn't even have 3G capability and
its current specs are remarkably similar to the HTC Hermes (TyTN).

One interesting thing I saw somewhere as well is that it is going to be

2007-01-10 Thread Dave Crozier
I agree,
I've just upgraded to the Orange SPV M3100 which is the HTC Hermes (I think)
and I love the slide out keyboard and small footprint. I had the SPV M2000
(2K3 CE) before that and the only drawback with the new one is the battery
life. The 2000 was considerably better. Apart from that, I love it.

One interesting thing I saw somewhere as well is that it is going to be
a closed platform. That's just mad!

Tristan,
Bet you wouldn't send one back if it appeared on your desktop though!

I think it looks really cool but unfortunately the bits I use on my PDA
phone aren't there (yet) which relate to appointments and
notes/documents
off my PC so I'll suspend judgement.

The screen interfact looks very good though with the 2 fingered gestures
(no
Tristan not that type of gesture!) and the Browser is a definite
improvement
on my PDA. We'll just have to wait until next Christmas to see it here
in
the UK though! Boo Hoo!!

 Interesting.

Since they sold 2 BILLION songs on iTunes, 500 million TV shows and
1.3 million movies, a couple of computers here and there don't reflect
 the name of the company.

Looking forward to seeing the keynote when it comes out. I've been
cobbling together a digital media hub for a while now. Maybe I'll toss

Makes me wonder how much it costs to change your company name. For

Why do you say that? (Besides obviously not being a Cingular

I got nothing but grief when I used Verizon. I've been happy with
