Here at work - and even on my personal PC - I may have anywhere between 7 to 10 Explorer windows open. I keep them open to current directories of projects I am working on. Of course - it drives me INSANE when my boss comes into the shop - gets onto the co. work laptop I mostly work on - and Shuts down ALL my Explorer Windows!!! Re: [NF] Windows File Manager Reborn
OMG Dude - Norton was GREAT I remember MANY Eons ago - I used to carry a special floppy disk with me whereever I Went (Ok - Pun intended - as Wendt is my last name). And, Norton - JUST the NC.exe program (Norton Commander) was on there - as well as a couple of other tools. Don't remember the others - but, NC was AWESOME! Without - I would get PISSED OFF if I had to deal with JUST the DOS Commands (even though - of course, I was pretty much an expert at those!). -K- On 9/6/2019 6:35 AM, Richard Kaye wrote: Yeah. The old Windows File Manager can do that. Thanks,. Charlie. I've already got a license and that's my current file manager. I think Rick Strahl recommended this a while back. I also liked PowerDesk back in the day but that's been discontinued and never made it to 64bit iirc. Another one I tried for a while that wasn't bad is xplorer2. -- rk -Original Message- From: ProfoxTech On Behalf Of Charlie Coleman Sent: Friday, September 6, 2019 10:04 AM To: profoxt...@leafe.com Subject: Re: [NF] Windows File Manager Reborn Look at Total Commander.
