Hi I sometimes get this c p u overload error message on my mac book pro. I did raise this question on the list before a while back. From memory Slau told me there is some information about cpu maximisation in the protools manual, but i have not looked for it. Good luck getting this sorted, Sounds like a night mare. Brian I have never clipped a track in ProTools. I have done this with the levels I have never clipped track and all the time I've used it which is only five or six months. But I have managed to get one song in the top 38 on the blues chart in the natiogn. There are lots of blind people using this program it is not a piece of junk relax and take it easy my friend you will get there. Here is an update. I opened up another project, and this did not happen at all. I let it run through the entire project, and everything worked as normal. Weird.
