I was logging in with Ipsilon as I had added it to my account prior to running
that batch of tests.

Good luck and if I can help in any way I'll be happy to.

1. Start fresh I logged in successfully.

2. Log out and log back in. Just as Josef, I got the
   HTTPFutureHTTPResponseStatus" error.

3. Re-logged in several times without further errors.

4. Remove phab.stg and iddev.fp.o domain cookies to force a full authentication
   and logged in successfully.

5. Re-login.

6. Received the same error "unsupported_grant_type" that Josef received on his
   second login test.

7. Click home page and follow the login process.

8. Error: "unsupported_grant_type".

9. Repeat step 6.

10. Error: "HTTPFutureHTTPResponseStatus".

11. Repeat step 6.

12. Login successful.

13. Re-login.

14. Error: "HTTPFutureHTTPResponseStatus".

15. Repeat step 6.

16. Login successful.

I'll stop here ;)

Maybe it just knows when I'm set up to debug the issue :)

I don't understand how either of those are happening but it looks like
I have a bit more digging to do :-/

At least there's that :)

1. Logging in via Persona I get:

  Unhandled Exception ("HTTPFutureHTTPResponseStatus")
  [HTTP/500] Internal Server Error
  Internal Server Error

2. Click "Close".

3. Click "Login or Register / Persona".

4. Persona "remembers" my Fedora email address. Click "sign in".

5. Getting "Remember You?" screen. Select "This session only".

6. Persona displays "Signing you in" and I'm back to the error from #1.

7. Click "Close".

8. Click "Login or Register / Persona".

6. Persona displays "Signing you in" and I land on the "Phabricator
   Registration" page.

7. Register Phabricator account.

8. Waiting for email...

9. Request to "Send Another Email".

10. Waiting for email...

kparal tells me I need your help with the registration. ITMT I started over
from step #1 and this time around there were no 500 errors.

Linking the account worked for me just fine, although I stumbled upon
the Err 500 while trying to log-in via persona (worked on the second
try, though).
After logging out, and re-logging in via Ipsilon for the first and
third time, this is what I got:

Unhandled Exception ("HTTPFutureHTTPResponseStatus")
[HTTP/400]
  Bad Request wrote:

Request for Testing: New Auth Method for Phabricator

2016-07-20 Thread Tim Flink
I've been working on moving our phabricator instance off of persona
before that system is turned off in a few months.

I have an extension deployed in staging and I'd like it to see a bit
more testing before looking into deploying it in production.

https://phab.qa.stg.fedoraproject.org/

To link your existing account (on staging, this won't work on the
production instance yet) to the new auth method:

1. Click on the "user" button next to the search bar when logged in

2. Click on "manage" on the left hand side of the screen

3. Click on "edit settings" on the right hand side of the screen

4. Click on "External Accounts"

5. Click on "Ipsilon" under "Add External Account

6. Log in with your FAS credentials.

Please let me know if you try this and are successful or if you run
into problems. I haven't been able to reproduce the 500 issue with
persona on stg but I suspect it's intermittant and will try again later
to see if I can fix it enough to be somewhat reliable.
