Could anyone share even an old document explaining the .QGS file structure? An old GIS.SE thread http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/32340/is-there-a-detailed-description-on-the-qgs-file-structure-somewhere gave a link to qgis.dtd https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/blob/master/qgis.dtd on Github. [Qgis-developer] Where are the .QGS project file specifications?
Where is the structure and format of a .QGS project file detailed? The header of a .QGS file indicates: !DOCTYPE qgis PUBLIC 'http://mrcc.com/qgis.dtd' 'SYSTEM' ... however, that link leads to a 'not found' page.
